Annoying being considered overseas isn't it? Mind you, you are quite a bit further away than we are
Ordering stuff from the UK costs a fortune in postage. I ordered DD1 a violin from Ebay - free postage it said. Unfortunately I didn't scroll down to the small print at the bottom - an extra £29 for me:eek::mad:
Ouch that's harsh! I always double and triple check postage prices now as some times you buy something for £5 and it's £15 postage! Hmmm don't think I'll get that then :rotfl:
Just treated myself and made a piece of jewelleryShall polish it in the morning though.
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible0 -
 Welcome newbies ...too many names to remember - guess it's pre-Christmas panic and you've all got CHAOS syndrome :rotfl: (see post 2 for that one)
Put a Christmas tree on a post to get added to the list. Our pal Toots is away - she very often meets and greets newbies so I'll leap in and do it for her.
Welcome to the madhouse. Your home did not get into a state/mess/tip in a day and it won't get cleaned in one. Follow the lists to whatever level time/energy and motivation allows. Don't admit to 'odd' OCD behaviour especially in the laundry department - nuff said there methinks:rolleyes: . They are a 'special' bunch that lot:rotfl: . Post 1 explains all abbreviations. Post 2 is a list of current/fairly current flyers. Pigpen is Godlike - those eyes WORK. She is omnipresent and omniscient (I know big words too - but I try to use them appropriately;) )I love it here. Hope you will too!
ETA Misty - then you are a perfect candidate for a HHC - and leave it at that. A HH spent whizzing through that list is all you need. Maybe you will only get to level 2 - but when the list comes round next week you will see the difference.
***hangs head in shame*** my 'cleaner' 'tidier' house hase been noticed by my mum - pity I haven't got a MIL to [strike]outdo[/strike] impress!;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi, Flyladies  I've had to delete a couple of posts, as they were asking for and giving medical advice
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about. While discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable we ask you specifically not to discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please see this rule on the Health Board). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

That sounds like a good idea.As I said, I wouldn't generally achieve anything house-wise on a Tuesday, so even the smallest amount of time spent cleaning/tidying will be a plus for me tomorrow. :T
