    Hello again
Don't know how I'm supposed to post what I've done/failed to do - didn't have time to go through all posts or previous threads!
Since this aft I've made tea, done all washing up (1st time in ages!:rotfl: ), wiped down kitchen, loaded WM ready to programme for early a.m., sorted through Christmas file, updated diary, disposed of a dead magpie that's been on the lawn for 2 days  & made menus for next few days.
Will come back first thing in the morning to look through properly & make lists - you lot are a well-organised bunch, feel pathetic looking at what I managed to do today! :o
Off to make cocoa & go to bed with craft magazines - night all xo

  • Hi
I've been reading this thread and it sounds like just the motivation I need. I have young children and always seem to be so busy. It's easy to get overwhelmed when I look at everything that needs doing. I will follow the daily jobs and see how I get on. Thanks for the inspiration....!

:rotfl:Thanks, and yes, you guessed my inspiration! At some stage I need to look for a picture of her for my avatar.

I used to love Hector's House! And the Herb Garden. They don't make them like they used to :rotfl:

Same here Justamum, we used to get a discount but now we're considered overseas which makes each course a horrendous amount! I shall have to wait till the children are grown and we have money to burn to do another course :(

Annoying being considered overseas isn't it? Mind you, you are quite a bit further away than we are :D Ordering stuff from the UK costs a fortune in postage. I ordered DD1 a violin from Ebay - free postage it said. Unfortunately I didn't scroll down to the small print at the bottom - an extra £29 for me:eek::mad:
  • Evening everyone.

I didn't get as far as i would have liked today, but i have done some stuff just now so i wasn't posting an unattempted list as usual. And i have tackled what you all seem to agree is the most important thing - the vet appointment, we are there at 10:30 in the morning, i'm taking both cats as the booster jabs are die anyway, and have arranged my sister to watch DS2, and DS1 will be at nursery. ;)

I've enjoyed the thread today. Gryfon - great progress shown in your piccies. Anw's mum loved the piccie of Miss A, no wonder you were all proud. Natty sorry to hear that bad news for your friend. I guess it would have been quick which must be small consolation, and i am sure she found you a comfort today. valli sorry to hear about your projector - man i hate it when that happens. IWBs are great, but its rubbish when all goes wrong - sorry that happened to you.

    Can't remember much else, sorry.

Anyway, strikey strikey, and then i am off to take a throat lozenge i think, seems though i appear to have the cold from the boys - mainly throaty at the moment, which is a PITA.

8 - [strike]make appointment [/strike]and take smelly cat to the vets - we want to assess whether he is becoming medically worse and look at rehoming - need to make a decision on this at some point this week
    9 - [strike]book appointment for cat(s) to have their annual boosters[/strike]

    I've also:
    • taken pictures of my fridge and pantry - shopandscan want to pay me 50p to see them, so there you go
    • cleaned DS2's highchair seat
    • got DH to install DS's new car seat in my car
    • sorted nursery stuff for tomorrow morning
    • transferred photos from the camera to the PC
    • fed the cats
    • got DH to scrub my steriliser as it is looking grubby on the plastic bits
That's about it for tonight i think, apart from i need to lay out DS1's clothes for nursery, and also run the steriliser tonight. We haven't got out the cat vaccination certificates, or the cat carriers, but that can be done in the morning as DH doesn't have to commute to the office in the am as he is at a local site meeting.

Night from me then. Speak to you all tomorrow.

holly :rotfl: deleted, see, confuzzling names/people as usual

Took DSs to a chinese buffet place for tea, yes I suddenly decided to be brave/crazy DSs both tried a few new things, however it was hilarious watching them squirm! DS1s having to inspect everything, can't get his head around wet food still, he tried rice and wasn't too keen, looked at me like I had two heads when I said it had to be eaten with something in a sauce. Anyway they ate other stuff like chicken on sticks etc aswell so didn't go hungry, I am very proud how well they did.

Well everyones asleep but me, DPs crashed out on the sofa, will moan if I don't wake him but can't get him up...........oh fun!
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Tuesday is a difficult day for me, as I work the morning 08.45 - 12.45, then again in another job from 16.00 - 22.00.
