    DONE!

Happy-Rags I really don't think anyone thinks we do all of the list everyday? Or am I on the wrong thread and have you all tranformed into little Anthea Turners overnight?

 That's a relief although I do have a friend who is the original Fly Lady and her house is immaculate, AT's home would look dirty in comparison :rotfl:

    4. In a house where I'm not the only one to do housework
    5. And.....oh yes, not in this job!
    Will that do?

Sorted my college files now, so will tackle my homework tomorrow.
    More washing and drying done.

 What a strange person, people like that worry me. I do have friends who's homes are similar but it's because they work a lot, children mess up the childminders house and not home and they have paid cleaners................sorry..........don't think I would like to swap.
One day I might be more organised...........

justamum- I have only had to pay about £60 towards my OU courses I am using Tesco clubcard vouchers and (not sure if this is scottish or national) an individaul learning account which gives me £200 towards the cost of learning.
    ?

Just for info, ILAs stopped in England some years ago following allegations of fraud. Always worth talking to colleges locally though because there are often pots of funding to get women back to work etc, or to get people to move into specific industries - like logistics. A lot of the restrictions around being 25 or under have gone recently so worth looking round.

Good - you have some aims. How are you going to achieve them? What do you need to do it? Break it down into smaller stages - look at your end point and work backwards.

My original plan at 25 was leave my dead end low paid admin job and to earn more than £Xk before I was 30, and to be professionally qualified. I looked in the paper to see what jobs paid that, and what I needed to get there. This gave me the info to support the decision to borrow the money to do the course that got me where I wanted to be. Still needed some luck, but I doubled my salary in 15 months (by moving from Lincs to Leeds mostly). Focus really helps. Having said that I walked away from it all (including the money  ) and am a lot happier and nicer for drifting! Probably time for a bit of focus now the boys have started school though.

Gosh I'm worn out, I'm guessing that's it now till next Monday :D

Do people really do all this housework everyday  I'm not the best housewife in the world, but at least I now have a clean kitchen and dining room :T

Ok, I am probably the least housewifey housewife there is! If anyone told me I'd be posting regularly on a housework thread, I'd have had them committed.

But, and here's the deal. Doing this, a bit at a time, means that as each week goes by, it gets quicker and easier. Honestly it does. There's loads of us that will tell you the same.

For example, the first time I scrubbed down my kitchen cupboards, it took ages, there were filthy, but then each week now, I wipe them over, it takes a couple of minutes, job done. Love it. :T

Start out gently, or you'll blow yourself out with exhaustion and boredom! Post your achievements, however small, it's all good.

Right, I'm off to unpack the Sainsbury's mini shop , and sort some veg to go with dinner. Tonight, I may find myself a large Vodka and OJ - or two - or three!!!

likkilgibbon.... I love the house, but i miss my flat lol. most of the boxes are piled up in ther spare room(kids sharing till DS2 is older, he wont sleep without his big brother). But still have a little pile in the living room which i really need to sort cos i cant put my fire on cos its right in front of it. IF that makes ANY sense to anyone you deserve a medal lol.

DS1 has broken his glasses again, and optician dont have the correct frame so i am going to have one very stressed little boy by the time he gets them back.... hopefully friday!!!

Anyhoo, must get on.... it wont do itself.

lil-me I bought the baskets a month or so ago and I'm sure I only paid £1 each but they are £1.50 now by the look of it :

Just do a search for "wicker" and it's the only thing that comes up. (Asda)
