Facebook MSE Flyladies page updated with this weeks list. Sorry I will have to delete it then repost it or add another post to it each time as it won't let me edit it, bloomin thing.

pigpen thanks for reminding me, have forgot to put DS1s money in for this week.
Pollybear did you get those baskets recently? I have been looking for some.
sarahs double/treble or more your bargain by watering it down ;) Tiggers antics made me giggle, maybe just living up to his name, Tigger being a moody character....

Gryfon sorry I would have a word, there is rules and there is plain nasty, that's nasty, she's done it !!!!!! they're only kids. **slaps Gryfons hand for not checking** right now you can stop feeling guilty, it's schools daft rules. I went 'offit' as DP put it a while back for DS2 getting told he would get detention for not doing homework, when I pointed out it's been highlighted he struggles with organisation skills but there was several weeks worth unchecked in his bag, that I think if a teacher is going to set homework they should make the effort to mark it etc....I got a queen bee in my bonnet about that one. What encouragement are they going to get to do it if they get the date wrong and get detention anyway? People wonder why kids are harming themselves due to stress at school.....grrr.....see I get all narky when it comes to school issues.

Summermoon ((hugs)) I have been like that every time I have moved......DP of course shrugs and says 'was just a house' no it's not, it's memories. Know how you feel with the leaks, we had a leaking shower for 3 months (they ended up needing to replace the bath panel (well I did as I gave up calling) floor and ceiling downstairs, also cost me 2 carpets and in decorating.

Welcome all the newbies, seems to be more this week!

DS2 collected, brrrr, windy out there. DS1 just walked in and threw his bag across the room, doesn't do Mondays that one......Bought myself a new keyboard on the way home, £24.99! I have never spent that much but tried it and it's a shaped one, wow, what a difference! I keep getting wrist pain when doing assignments so hoping it will be worth it.

AnW'sMum that brought a tear to my eye seeing little A all smart and doing such an important job, hope her arms aren't aching too much. I am sure that was a sign too, coincidence isn't even that special. Thank you for sharing those with us.

Speaking of presents etc I need to update my bought/ideas list, I have a present idea for DPs Dad which has been approved by his wife :D first time I have had an idea for him as most things he wants/needs he just buys.

MACAW not going well because I am protesting, since we have picked up his new toy (after going to collect his real car and some tools/parts for his toy) all he's done is play with it. The conservatory being done is to give him more space in his garage, so until he helps, I am not doing any more and doing what he won't touch, like the rest of the housework! **stamps feet** so there! Just waiting for him to say 'well you've not done much in the conservatory have you' so I can bite his head off.

Has anyone seen my iron? ? ? ? ? If I don't find it tonight it's either buy one or SEW!!! Argh!!!!
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Afternoon all - feeling groggy as hell after yesterday's early then night shifts and can't get my bum in gear - must get shifting soon cause have got SW this evening (tho i've been carp this week) and need to buy a pressie for a friend for tomorrow

:hello: and welcome to liberty, happy-rags, mammamia, tim, haribo, smiffy and cheapskate (plus any closet lurkers) - don't be afraid to post and join in on challenges - they are deceptively motivating (and if not, there's always pigpen's fluffy mule around the back of the legs :D)

crafty - thanks for link - i've got a book out from the library by Barbara Sher called "What do I do when I want to do everything?" - apparently I'm a scanner, which is a fancy term for a multi-tasker with loads of interests who can feel guilty about not having enough time to do anything to the depth that I want - does come up with some sound time-management strategies tho

natty - how terrible. Take care of yourself and of your friend (try not to over-do it tho as you sound fragile still) - doing that speed off motorway is madness. Hugs for helping her to cope

bcbook - good luck for tonight and the new job - you'll be great

AnW'smum - Miss A did you and hubby proud - I'm sure he was there watching (lump in throat) Well done to her.

pigpen - if this pointless exercise is a lecture-type thingie rather than a seminar, then take something worthwhile in, like your next assignment and scribble away on that while they're blathering - most of my friends used to write begging letters home to the bank of mum and dad during tediously pointless lectures

gryfon - does seem a bit harsh yes, but then again if DD didn't mind, no real harm done and I'll bet she checks every time in future - didn't she tell them it was a mistake or didn't they want to listen?

Can someone please kick me into getting dressed (well I have been on nights) and doing something, anything, rather than just slobbing!!!
    I'd rather be watching CSI!
  • Sorry Summermoon, nearly forgot - good luck at getting the leak fixed. Do you like the new place apart from this and the boxes? Remember, it's always stressful until your things have got a proper home. Can you put the unopened boxes all together and somewhere that's not always in view? Then you can tackle them bit by bit without them seeming insurmountable.

Pink Fairy - sorry about your job disappointment but that sounds great feedback - fingers crossed for next time - and starting a new job after Xmas rather than before might be easier..........

    DONE!

Happy-Rags I really don't think anyone thinks we do all of the list everyday? Or am I on the wrong thread and have you all tranformed into little Anthea Turners overnight?

As proud as a proud thing :D

It was the church 100 club draw as well and Miss A drew out Daddy's number and won £50, how cool is that. Told her that it was Daddy's way of telling her how proud he is too.

The photos are brill, you have every right to be very very proud.

and he is watching down on you all as well
