Pigpen - they have to make everybody do the same otherwise it would be seen as "discriminating" against those who aren't as capable. Can't have winners and losers now can we?

If we can point out a child with additional needs or as gifted or talented we can do the same with adults!

Hello, folks, please may I join in? My house looks like a prime candidate for Kim & Aggie, so I really need to get back into regular housework! I haven't read everything yet, but today I have:
    • Taken baby for dr appt (chickenpox), paid DH's bills in town & shopped
    • Made all beds
    • Wiped down half of kitchen & dejunked fridge
    Would still like to:
    • Do washing up still lurking from breakfast
    • Cook spuds for tea
    • Vaccuum all upstairs
    • Do one load of washing
Will check in later & read what/how you all do things, & see what's in store for tomorrow!
Thanks for letting another newbie join - God knows I need the motivation!

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is.......wash up after every meal (instead of letting it lurk!) & do my ironing every time I've washed (hate doing it all at the end of the week).

  • Pigpen - Justifiable rant there!

AnW's Mum - *sniff* * sniff*, that brought a lump to my throat. You must have been very proud and I'm certain Daddy was also looking proudly on.:A

Boddy - thank you, and anyone else who has sympathised over missing out on the job.

Justamum - I'm only studying because all three of my courses are free! That's the WAG for you. DS is only paying £15 for a year's guitar lessons, subsidised because he's under 18, but also doing the Dip in A & P, same as me, for free. He can do that because he's 18 in the year of registration. He's also hoping to the Dip in HM next year, but thought it was a bit much for this year. (Methinks he was right. :o - it's hard work)

OK 'fess up time! Who sent the Gremlins to my house? Last night when I was ironing, the iron kept beeping as it needs a new anti-scale cartridge. Now I had a year's supply with the iron and this is only the first, so where have I [strike]hidden[/strike]put the others? I've looked in all the utility cupboards and even been under the stairs.

Ok I have a question. Big girl did her reading last night and wrote the wrong date in. She said she was sent to 12.30 which is where they go when they haven't done homework etc. She was sent their because she'd written the wrong date down and I didn't notice when I signed it. So she had to sit and do some reading. She says she doesn't mind but it just seems a bit harsh! Would you say anything or just leave it?

Personally i would have soemthing to say, an error of date is so much different to not bothering to do it!
You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?
