hi everyone,
friend and mum applied for this and neither have recieved anything as yet.............is it time to chase it up or be a bit more patient
thanks for any help0 -
I switched from EDF (useless company) over to British Gas for my electric and Atlantic for my gas the beginning of January '06. I receive both DLA and IS so I rang British Gas just now and they said that because I only got electric from them that I would be receiving £30 in total. £15.00 in November '06 and another £15.00 in February '07. Both will be applied to my electric bill. Would love to know how that other poster managed to squeeze £90 out of them...lol0

I applied for it before xmas and had a letter a couple of weeks later but I havn't had any cash yet. I suppose they will do it all in their own time. Hi Everyone.
I have just phoned British Gas (I get both gas and electricity from them) and they said the deal is closed for this year but I can register for next year. I have asked to talk to a supervisor and hope to be called back after 18.00 tonight. I am going to push for the this year - wish me luck. . I may try calling the number Sue H Hall suggested now.0 -
I cant find my account number. Im on a prepayment meter and the number isnt on the payment card. Any sugestions?0

If you are not on British Gas then contact your supplier and ask what sort of scheme they adopt - you may be suprised at the result!!!!
Took the above advice and immediately phoned Atlantic Electric & Gas and YES they too do a cash rebate. The girl told me as she wasn't trained to deal with it as its so new someone would be getting back to me in the next few days but I definately qualified!!Yippee0 -

I'm on a pre-payment aswell and didn't know mine before i applied but if you can call BG and explain to them that you are on a pre-payment and don't know it they will give you your account number by looking up your address i think:)Darren0 -

Just had a look at the programme on BBC website. I suggest you move the cursor to the end of the programme for the interesting bit as thats where its at.......play it in real player and you will find the bit at 23min25seconds mark towards the very end.
