He needs to get a job. The longer he leaves it the harder it will be. I live in Rotherham and I know that Asda are taking christmas shelf stackers 10pm til 6am. When you have children and want one parent to care for the child then one carer will have to work nights if you arent going to pay for childcare.
Its not as bad as it seems.
Good luck.May £10 a day challenge£19.61/£310Ebay challenge...£12.61/£2000 -
What does he say when you mention it? Does he not realise you are skint?? Is he happy for you to work and support him and any children for all his life?? Does he want to struggle financially forever? What a waste of a fit able person. What about voluntary whilst DD is at school, just to get *something* on his CV.May £10 a day challenge£19.61/£310Ebay challenge...£12.61/£2000

TBH I would be reticent about trying to argue with your OH into finding work.
my lasting impressions of S Yorks were no jobs and pretty grim to be truthful.
i would say that if one of you are working then take it as a blessing in disguise, it might not be ideal biut at least it's money.
Do your time, take your maternity leave and see what the future holds would be my advice.
You can get through your current job by thinking that you only have so many weeks left to work, unless you feel ill of courseKarma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -

I live in S yorks and ive not noticed a decline in jobs. Most town centre stores are taking christmas staff. Macdonalds ALWAYS needs staff. As do care homes, and not just care staff, they need handy men too.
If this recession takes hold then after businesses do go bust and people are laid off work then your OH will find it much harder because most people applying for jobs will have skills.
My sis recruits adults and children for local free paper rounds. She says there are more adults then kids take a few rounds on to get some money.
You're going to ware yourself out and if I was in your position then id start to resent OH for me being so knackered all the time.May £10 a day challenge£19.61/£310Ebay challenge...£12.61/£2000
