  • Just realized i'm spending roughly £9 a day when i'm over my OH's as i tend to pop to Tesco for something and end up coming away with a big bag full of stuff we don't really need, but i've picked up because they are on special, why did they have to open a Tesco Express near the flat..grrr!

From Tuesday (Monday doesn't count as its my day out day) i am going to spend less than £1 a day, its my mission. Thats enough to get my daily paper, and a choccy bar maybe to keep me going at work!

  • WOW, what a fab day i had with my sister and mummy today, and i didn't go over the £50 i put aside for today, i think i spent £48.96 lol.

Just worked out money for the remainder of the month and i believe i have £50 in cash in my purse, and I'm due to get a £10 refund in my bank from a dvd i returned, and i am going to pay in £10 worth of pennies i have, so thats £70 i will have to last me until payday on the 27th March. As i don't have ANY plans for this weekend, and I'm off work tomorrow (Tuesday) i should make the week without spending more than £5, well thats my mission anyway, so i (fingers crossed) should have £50 left by payday. Money is going to be tight again next month - estimated i will have £100 to last me the month for things like going out, food, and just general everyday bits.

Going to look if i can find a 2nd job, I'm after anything. Cleaning, a Saturday job in a shop, ANYTHING! Will get my local paper on Friday and see what's about. I'm also going to start mystery shopping again, will try and get into that to earn some more ££.

    Must get some sleep now.

  • I had a days holiday today and i spent the whole day in my lounge clothes just chilling - loved it! I do however feel slightly tired now, god knows why, i haven't done anything - apart from doze on the sofa whilst watching movies :D

Remember i mentioned about Blockbuster charging me for the higher package, well i emailed and complained as they only put on the lower package even know i'd be charged for the higher one, and they will refund the difference, so thats £8 being refunded on my debit card - every penny helps right now.

I have taken lots of pics of the items i want to list on ebay at the weekend, i normally try to list them on Sunday and have them going for 7 days, i find more people are browsing ebay on Sunday eves, well i do anyways :rotfl:

Just about to file away my pay slip from last month and some bits and bobs, make things a lil bit more organized.

I'm planning on having 3 NSD's this week, and will try not to spend more than £10 for the remainder of the month - will be tricky but i need to stop wasting money on things i don't need, like Tom and Jerrys ice cream, sweeties, magazines, chocolate

  • Bad me, bad bad me!!! My week of having some no spend days didn't quite happen, and i'm very annoyed at myself! I'd already spent £80 on my mum for Mothers Day as i took her out on Monday for the day, but today i couldn't help but buy her some lil pressies, so i ended up spending another £30 on a CD, book and some Body Shop bits. I wish i had resisted as my mum knows she had her pressie the other day so isn't expecting anything. Oh well...she's my mummy and i love her. When's daughters day?? :p

I also spent £15 in Tesco this week on some veg, and i couldn't help but buy a bottle of Rose today - my treat for tonight, cheaper than going out.

I have my driving test on Monday  so i have a 2hr lesson tomorrow, so thats £42 tomorrow to my driving instructor, and another £42 on Monday as i have a 1hr lesson before my test, so nervous, just so badly want to pass, 5th time lucky! Really don't know what i'm going to do if i fail again, apart from cry, LOADS!!!

After paying out driving fees, and my buying the naughty pressies for my mum, i have £47 to my name to last me until payday next Friday!

Umm, i could really do with some Tom and Jerrys tonight :D yum-my!!!

I printed out pages and pages of matched betting info the other day, and i'm still trying to get my head around it, VERY confusing. I really want to work it out as it seems like easy money, just don't want to mess it up.

I have my driving test on Monday
Thought I'd stop by and say an early good luck for your driving test on monday. I was going to try to remember to stop by on Sunday but really, once I've slept I've a job on remembering my own name so it really wasn't going to happen!

    Soooo..... Good Luck :D
  • Hehe - Thanks Laura!!! I just hope i can do it this time!!! Want it SOOOO bad!
  • I just can't help myself - just spent £10 on a few bets on Paddypower. £5 on Jessica to win Dancing on Ice - if she does win i get £35 back, i wonder who i'll be cheering on tomorrow eve  and a few football bets, plus played blackjack, but lost!!!

I now only have £30 to last me until Friday

Driving lesson today went okay - i wish i didn't let it stress me out as i just end up making silly mistakes, i just want Monday to be here and done with now.

Off to enjoy sunshine now! :D

    Hi

Just wanted to say good luck for your driving test. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

I failed my first one but before my second a friend told me to chew gum whilst doing it. It did kind of relax me and also took my mind of my nerves a bit. I passed anyway so it must have done something!!

  • Thanks Emily, I'm really hoping its 5th time lucky! I will definitely try the gum thing, i'll try anything to get me to pass and driving. I just want it sooo badly!

My weekends been good, my OH and I went out for a meal last night and to see Marley and Me, the film was so so sad, i just fell in love with Marley.

I spent around £6 all weekend - thanks to my lovely OH.
