To be fair it does seem that way from what you saidricflairandy wrote: »I love blaze attitude some of you have , the way people assume that your kids do nothing but watch tv
Borrow a TV if your kids are addicted so much, to be honest when I was a kid, I didn't watch the television all the time, If I did, I watched .tv as I was into my tech programs or programs on trains.get real people. My kids do gymnastics 3 times a week, kickboxing twice a week and one of them does read (the other cant read yet as shes only 3). However to ask them to read every day and not play on the wii, or watch the tv programs that their friends in school are going on and on about is just not on atall.
Did you see that episode of family guy where TV went off in the town and Peter got a much more varied life, I think this is a great example of what no TV can do, Maybe your kids can play out with their friends, use their imagination, do other things. TV is not only possible activity.
What because the TV is broke? This part of the arguement is flawed, How many hours of TV do they watch? seems to me like a lot. No TV isn't end of the earth, theres the internet, theres other activites!I do not want my kids being made fun of or feeling left out, moreso the older one.
Yes you are, Dare I say your kids are TV potatoes? And before i get "dont you think your going over the top" no i dont.
Well I disagree, I know people who don't have a tv and they lead fuller lives they do have fuller lives than TV owners, I envy them for this. It does seem your kids like the TV a little too much. You know what kids are like , they can be very nasty.
IF IT BOTHERS YOU THAT MUCH BORROW ONE!!0 -
