Sistercas pitta pizzas are a doddle
Just take a pitta smear with tomato puree/hm tomato sauce/passata/pesto. Add salami/bacon pieces/ ham/chopped veg like mushrooms, frozen sweetcorn, olives etc. Top with cheese -any kind you like. Pop under the grill till bubbly and bob's your uncle;)

Evening all
Thanks for all the comments about the slicer for the bread, will make my mind up by the weekend
Penpin - hope your hospital visit is successful. You know that we all care on here, and if some people aren't interested, well they don't have to read what you say do they
Keep us up to date
Home from work to find DS finished off the first loaf I baked for breakfast, so will put another one on and try the timer tonight. Want to try french sticks at the weekend and then a fruit loaf. I don't like mixed fruit so will just make one with currants and won't have to sit there for hours picking all the sultanas and candied peel out

((((Hugs)))) to all0 -

evening!
Not OS but wanted to tell someone. Have just heard that my closest friend has got ovarian cancer. This is the friend I mentioned who has been quite poorly lately, at first they thought it was her liver but now they have changed their diagnosis. Things are not looking good for her as I think it is quite advanced. I am going to see her tomorrow afternoon. I am absolutely devastated.
Thanks for listening xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Hello everyone,
Sorry, but i havnt read the thread for days, so i hope everyone is ok, but ((HUGS)), :hello: and congrats to anyone who needs/wamts/deserves one!!
Was driving at the weekend, when my cars steering went all funny - so off to the garage on Tuesday morning, and then Tuesday afternoon i got it back - £260 lighter and a new alternator - im so hoping that this doesnt mean more will start going wrong now!!! Really did come at the wrong time, as im desperate (sp) to replace my oven - when you turn it on it heats up to the highest temp, whatever i put it on, so obviously, that makes it very difficult to cook anything.
Mind you, i have just made 4 pasties and a load of sausage rolls - not an easy task as it meant i had to keep opening the oven door to let the heat out, and turn it off and on etc, but ive done it, so the children have sausage rolls for their lunch boxes now.
Some good news tho, is that i have a new LO starting on Monday, for 1 1/2 days a week - so hopefully that will help with the new oven!!! Im looking forward to it, as its a LO i used to look after, but stopped when his mum lost her job, so its lovely that she wanted him to come back to me now she has some more work. Baby i look after is now 8 months old, and has just started crawling (although she is desperate to walk!!!) so i really do need eyes in the back of my bum now! But it is lovely, i love seeing them learn new things and help them on their way - im trying to get her to clap, today she was banging toys together so dont think it will be long now.
Tomorrow is an incredibly special day - my wonderful Nan is going to be 100 YEARS OLD - i wish i could see her, but with work and us living a good hour and a half away we cant (she goes to bed too early for us to go up in the evening) but we are going up on Saturday - i cant wait (and the reason i had to get my car fixed ASAP) DS is playing football, but if the match goes on too long his coach has agreed that he will take him off early - this is one trip we will not be missing!
Anyway, ive drivelled on long enough - hope everyone has a lovely evening.
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
