    Please help i need ideas for this ruby hamper i am doing, I am trying to put 40 red things in it and i thought i was doing quite well but i have put it all the bits together and i only have 13 items. How on earth am i going to make it up to 40 :eek:

    Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30

    Can you post a list of what you already have? and also how old they are what kind of things they like? etc

    I did loads of red things for OH for valentines day :) some of them might be ideal :)

    Ok they are both 60 and retired. Mil makes cards fil likes his computer no other hobbies really. I have
    Ruby port ( prob will also get a bottle of red wine)
    thortons chocolate champagne bottle (says happy 40th anniversary on it)
    sweet chilli sauce
    red tea
    Red canvas bottle bag that holds 6 bottles
    rasberry and honey jam
    red sky, red pepper kettle crisps
    2x Maltesers hot chocloate
    red aroma therapy bath foam
    strawberry face mask x2
    red tea lights
    red pillar candle
    2x tins of red salmon
    1969 top of the pop's cd ( ordered)
    So that actually makes 17 so far.

    Done the whole photo books and portraits many times over all ready for both their recent 60th's

    I was going to look for red socks to make a sock cup cake but can't find any i think i may have a red flannel from when i was into flannel cakes so i could use that.

    I did a red themed hamper for my son's GF and got a nice red candle in the charity shop ( would sell them in most shops I reckon) and also covered a note book in red paper.
  • red - dressing gowns, pjs. slippers, passport and travel document holders (if they travel), desk tidys (could be used for both crafts and pens at the comp) mstching his n hers towel sets, photo frame (maybe with a wedding pic of them in) hankies, bit of longshot considering their age but a copy of that song ruby(was it by the keisher cheifs?)

    Hiya, love this thread and reading all about all the good baskets and love the pictures on the other thread too! I'm going to make my first ever ones this year cant wait till i can get to the pound shops haha.

    For the ones that sell their baskets, who do you sell to is it just friends and family and how much on average does each basket cost to make (i know it varies for whats in it though) and how much of a mark up on the cost to make do you sell them for?

  • hi all i need help with a hamper if u dont mind.
    my stepdad has a silly sense of humour so i am going to make him a joke hamper.
    id prefer to do this using homemade things, ie the ball of life, wrapped loo roll
    any other suggestions?
