Hi, although haven't posted on this thread before, have been an avid reader and admirer of you lot for ages!! Have a plan for my husband's birthday (21st December) as he likes red wine. Currently have a small rack that holds six, he's forever going on about getting a decent one that holds more. Am going to add a couple of decent wine glasses and opener. Really think he'll like this, plus I can almost absorb the cost with the grocery shopping by only buying on offer. My prob is how can I present it? It's gonna be bulky and mighty heavy by the time I'm finished! Any ideas??

    hospital costs €550

  • Hi KBL - what a great idea and I will be pinching it straight away! my husband also drinks vast amounts of red wine and he would love this - his birthdays is 15th december - will have a think on presentation I suppose it all depends on how big the wine rack is that we choose to buy ?

Hi, looking at all the lovely pics of the hampers has made me wonder if I should do one for DH and DS. I always buy movies, sweets, beer (DH) etc but wrap with xmas paper separately and they may look good as a hamper.

However I need a little help with cellophane/bows etc if possible. Looked on ebay but the cellophane does look very wide - is it standard or should I be looking for a certain size. Are the pretty bows special ones or stabdard gift ones with curling ribbon added.

Lastly, it is easy to bunch the cellophane - do I need tape or staples etc. Any help for a hamper novice would be appreciated.

    Hi ladies,

Can you help me, recently my daughter saw some Meerkats and has now fallen in love with them. For her 6th birthday she has asked for some Meerkat things. Only problem is I have no idea where to buy Meerkat gifts..

So far though I have been to Vista Print and order a canvas bag with a meerkat photo on it and some memo notes which I added Happy 6th Birthday

I have 3 weeks to get all this arghhhhhhhhhh any ideas would be appreciated.

We saw some too recently at our garden centre (it has an animal part). They had lots of Meerkat items like mugs, pens, cuddly toys etc. Do you have something similar locally?

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Hi

I've just started getting bits and bobs for my hampers this year and have just got these, Not sure if they have been posted already but could be good little fillers for hampers, especially as its free delivery - (all from play.com) they have got some nice little bits for under £5

Beer hamper for OH This beer apron £2.99

My friends pink Hamper This funky screwdriver set £2.49 and these spa lights £4.49

I got my dad this for his hamper as he loves sudoku (like a rubiks cube)

They have lots of mugs and keyrings and a funky rubiks cube pepper mill!
