Hello, sorry I'm sure this has been covered somewhere in the 167 pages (!) but does anyone have any ideas for a gardening themed hamper? Its for my godmother, so far i have all weather salve, fragrant gardener bath soak and lavender body cream. She is a keen gardener so doesnt need any tools, and Im not sure what to do seed wise, but does anyone have any ideas on little things i could include to pad it out a bit more please?

a nice notebook and pen - essential for when you're considering what did/didn't work and what needs moving ;)

Years ago, I got a lovely brass hook from Pastimes with a tiny pair of shears on it. It's in the shed for hanging my pinny on. Haven't seen this design since but you can get some lovely ones with flowers on.

An apron with pockets for secateurs, hanky etc?

There are downloadable images here that would do for seedpackets, diary, notebook eg 646262_f260.jpghttp://hubpages.com/hub/vintage-flowers

And there are some lovely templates here for seed packets eg http://tipnut.com/seed-packets/ contentinacottage.jpg alenkasprintables.jpg

do you have anything for it yet?

can recommend these Booja Booja ginger-wine truffles http://www.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/products/booja-booja/ - but of course, you could make some :)

how strange that it won't allow the link - it was the ethicalsuperstore but here's a photo 337024b.jpg

There's a ginger wine recipe here that doesn't require yeast - so straightforward, although it's probably more like a ginger liqueur http://hubpages.com/hub/Ginger-Wine-Recipes

    Hi everyone,

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, so sorry if it has but yesterday I popped down to The Works and they had some Chalkboard storage boxes like the ones Matalan had last year except they are more rectangular (approx size from the package is 23 x 26 x 40 cm)

They are £2.99 and they had blue, red and pale pink. Picked up two for my movie hampers.

These plus my botanics bargains from Poundland and my shopping trip yesterday was fabby! :j

Some nice ginger cookies (home-made or bought)
Ginger wine (and whisky so he can make a Whisky Mac)
Choc covered ginger from Thorntons (they do a bag for about £3)
Traditional Ginger Beer (you could do one fiery, one mild)
    Gingerbread man

Can you tell I'm a ginger fan......
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p
