  • Hi Ladies,

Just spent about 2 hours looking at all your beautiful hampers. How much would I love to receive one of them!!

You have inspried me to make a baking hamper for my little neice. She has just turned 7 and loves al thing pink and girlie! Im a bit stumped as to where I can find some kiddie friendly/kiddie sized baking things. (not being much of a baker myself I dont really have much of a clue what needs to go in there!)

I have looked on ebay and have found a lovely kids apron. Has anyone ay ideas what lse I could pop into it? Also wondering if you may know where I could get a nice baking bowl to use to pop te stuff in.

    Any ideas greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks
    Linz

    Hi Babyfreckles

I think having read this tread some of the ladies get their cellophane from ebay. I just searched for it and there were a whole heap of sellers came up. Alternatiely maybe a florist or something would sell you just what you need.

  • iv got mine from flowerhour- its on ebay or just google the shop. someone had put it up on here, and its great- not much more than my local florist wanted for much much more. their postage is really fast too, even on the slow post at christmas time, which was nice
    hth

also does anyone know how many posts you need before you can post pictures, really happy with my hampers but when i tried to put them up it didnt work
  • Hi LoopyLinz, you could include a wooden spoon, some biscuit cutters, some biscuit/cupcake mixes (you can get Disney Princess and other cartoon characters), some writing incing, sprinkles, silver balls, rolling pin, apron.

Try the baking aisle in the supermarkets for food ideas and the biscuit/cupcake mixes, and the baking section in Wilkinsons for the equipment, you can get cute shaped cookie cutters, brightly coloured things in there. Or the pounshop has some baking stuff in.

For anyone doing a wine hamper, B&M has a pack of four wine scented candles on for £1.99

I`ve used shredded paper for hampers, by the time you get everything in you can`t tell.
