Hi all I wonder if anyone can help me? I remember last year bookmarking (and using) a really cheap present site - a bit like a mixture of wilkinson plus and studio but very cheap! however due to a problem with our computer all of the links had to be deleted and windows reloaded. Any help would be gratefully received!

Hello Everyone!
Ive never made a basket before but a friend of mine is geting married in less than 2 weeks and im completely skint.
Does anyone have any ideas? Also where could i get a cheapish basket from?0 -
Hi laura, a friend of mine is getting married and I was going to make her a book with some 'marriage advice', words of wisdom etc from her friends and family and famous quotes, maybe a page with what the different anniversary gifts are, some OS tips from this site (cleaning your windows with newspaper and vinegar) etc. You could even make the hamper an 'Old Style' one with some stardrops, vinegar, bicarb etc to make it a little vintage
Depends on your friend and what they like I guess, any more info?God is good, all the time

Thanks for the great ideas!
Well they are both mid twenties, have been living together for a fair while and have 2 kids. They have spent quite a bit of time apart due to him being in the Army. They dont have that much money either.
I was thinking it would be nice to do a kind of pamper basket as they probably dont get that much time away from the kids?!
So far i have 2 champagne glasses - as i was given these a while ago but i already have a lovely set from my wedding.0 -
I just came across this carry case on halfcost for £1 and thought it might be a fun alternative to a basket for a hamper. I thought it might be good if you are putting a small hamper together for children (or grown ups!) especially for craft baskets.

Postage is £3.99 (or free for over £25) so it is only worth it if you can find other things you want to order.
I haven't ordered one of these - if you wanted to order one it might be worth e-mailing/calling them to find out more. If you enlarge the picture it appears to have 'Christopher' on the top so you might want to check whether these are blank - I assume you can't personalise them.
I hope this helps someone - just wondering if I can justify ordering a few!0 -

If you go to Sainsbury's you might find down the chocolate aisle some Bloomsberry Chocolate Bars - near the large Lindt bars etc. There is a bar that says "his and hers chocolate" it is in black and pink packaging and the pink part says "hers" and the 50% covers more like 75% of the bar and the his part is significantly smaller. Quite a funny quirky little gift and costs about £1-£2. Just remembered it is called the "Marital Bliss Bar" - very appropriate!Mummy to a beautiful 4 month old princess! x0
