Loving all the baskets and ideas in this thread :D

Well I'm here for ideas, yet again! I'm making a tea hamper (really am this time!) for a friend - so far I've got a mug and coaster, hot chocolate pouches and will put some tea bags with it too.. can you think of anything else that would go well with that theme?

On a similar but different note - it's all going to be posted - need advice on how to package the mug and coaster to ensure no smashing???

edit: You guys might already know about this website, but searching for gift baskets on google brings up lots of new ideas!

I found this site: http://www.gourmetgiftbaskets.com/ wow - lots of new ideas (for me, anyway) - all so expensive but could be made so cheaply!

    For example - http://www.gourmetgiftbaskets.com/Deluxe-Junk-Food-Gift-Basket.asp is $60!!

My best friend gave birth to a beautiful daughter at the weekend and I put together this hamper for her and her partner and the baby BabyHamperluxury.jpg I made the hamper up mainly of neutral coloured things and then added some pink stuff once I found out it was a girl. I love those cups where did you get them ? :j

Got them from Sainsbury's recently for £1.99 each but think there is 25% off at the moment so they will be £1.49

    Hi
My daughter (16) is leaving school in a couple of weeks time to start her first job. She is going to be a Dental Nurse. I was thinking of making her a hamper but do not really have any ideas of what to put in it.

It's in the sale at the moment priced ar £9.00 and there are codes about for £5.00 off so could pick it up for £3.00.
Since Carrie loves buying expensive shoes:eek: thought this would be a great item to put in.

Thanks for that suggestion - sounds like a bargain!

I have just taken a look at your other post with all the lovely hampers....well done they look fabulous:) Are the pink hat boxes the ones from Argos? Have you any idea of the diameter of the largest one (just approx will do) They look very classy but was wondering how much 'stuff' I could get in them.

    Hi curlylocks,
sorry for late response i see your question has been answered, they are the ones from argos and I see you got some :T. They are so handy to have just in case and they don't take up much room.

    Happy hampering:p
