I usually shred a few sheets myself in my shredder, much cheaper! I don't really know how much you would need as I judge it as i am going. If you have a shredder or know someone with one, try doing a few sheets of tissue yourself, I think it will be alot cheaper for you and you can choose your colours to match your hamper.

    thanks
ive a shredder but its cross cut so might not have the same effect:rotfl:
will ask about first though and do it myself

If the photos are taking up a lot of space Mary, how about putting some into a scrapbook for Mum? I'm no expert--I only watch it on the telly :D --but you can get some pretty papers & embellishments & I'm sure people have put little envelopes on some pages that perhaps you could put some potpourri in...Just thinking perhaps the mental stimulation of having to turn the page might be of some benfit to Mum too, & she would get a whiff of pine cones or whatever, as she reminissed  Trouble is, you would have a lot of work to do, even if you have copies of the photos already at your home :o
What about one of your imfamous shoe boxes, covered in some family photos to provide a little storage box to put her hand cream & things in? You could perhaps fashion a 'matching' cover from the bottom of a shoe box, cut a fairly wide slit in the top & it can stand over a boring box of tissues? They used to be all the rage a few years ago so you could bring it back into vogue :p
The only other thing I thought of was a voucher affair towards having her hair done, perhaps helping to pay for a perm. Godd Luck with it...you'll find the answer soon. x

Ahhh it's never too early, I hope not anyway. I started watching them in September. You can't beat a lovely christmas film.
