Well done everyone
hampers/snowman soup looks great!
I have a new challenge ... My brother in law has taken over the role of daddy to his girlfriends children they are ages 4 and 2 I think Anyway I have only met them once but BIL has said he doesn't want and presents this year but instead would like any money that would have been on presents for him to be spent on a token present for the children which I think is really sweet .... so I thought I could do a movie basket with a kiddies dvd in there a bottle of wine for his mrs, a couple of bottles of beer for him, some small cans/fruit shoots for the children, 2 x snowman soup then sweets and snacks? think I can get away with this for them? I don't know what kind of films they do/don't have as I don't know them ... I may even stretch to making the boys a couple of sock monkeys not sure yet.

Absolutely Rusty, I think this sounds fab! :T
You could maybe get the cheap DVD from Play/Nestle and get a couple to hedge your bets on what they have.0 -
Thanks guys
Its been a couple of years since I knew what 4 and 2 year olds liked lol which is why I was struggling. I will put the idea to OH when he wakes up and see what he says
Can you still get the nestle cereals with the vouchers on them? this would be even better as it keeps the price down even furtherRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Have finally caught up with the posts! I've been away visiting my family for 8 days and have spent hours reading all the posts I've missed. I didn't want to miss out on anything! There are some fab hampers posted-well done everyone!
I visited Home Bargains whilst I was away and got some more bits in there. Apart from buying a few bags of chocolate coins, I think I'm all done with christmas shopping now. Will have to check my giant list of pressies to make sure I've not missed anyone out. Getting so excited about christmas!!!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Does your hamper brain never switch off? Sounds like a fab idea to me!!! Nestle cereals with the Play.com offer are still in Tesco for definite as I've bought 4 boxes of various stuff this week and ordered 4 DVDs for my two. In Tesco coco mini shreddies were reduced to £1 a box (from £1.97). I also bought a copy of the Jungle Book on DVD as I haven't seen it for years and used to love it - this was £7.99 though - going in the boys movie box too, hope they like it as much as me so we can watch it lots over Xmas
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
