Well done every one, fantastic hampers.

(Arghhhhhhhhh any one got any ear plugs, blooming neighbours are hammering yet again.)
 Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.
  • KandiPandi your movie night hamper is fab, Rainmac I love your hamper aswell! perfect as always :D

I am having a hamperers block ... I have or thought I had finished buying for my BIL, SIL and her two kids, however I have put it in a box and it just doesn't look like anything :( Can anyone suggest a couple of cheapy things I could add please.
    so far I have
Mr Magoriums wonder emporium (£1 play nestle deal)
2 x mini bottles of wine (£1.98 home bargains)
1 x big box of popcorn (75p home bargains)
1 x bag of sensations crisps (£1 asda)
2 x cans of lager ( free OH's beer fridge)

Can go upto about £5 on remaining presents as the above is well under £5 and I limited it to £10 as I have only met his mrs and her kids once.

so far my thoughts are ...

2 x snowman soup for kids
2 x cartons of ribena or fruit shoots for the kids
    big bar of chocky?
    cello cone with sweets in?

    Argh someone help please!

A couple of 'grab bags' of maltesers or minstrels? Or the Cadburys buttons etc in the shape of a cracker (does that make sense?! I know what I mean)....Maybe a bag of pistachios or monkey nuts?

I'd definitely add snowman soup as well.

I think it sounds like a lovely hamper but know what you mean that sometimes all the stuff doesn't look quite right when you put it all together.

  • Hi all
Just wanted to say, doing last bits of shopping today, has you do, although still a little bit more to get, not alot... anyway I went to the markets today, to get a large spa hamper, that contained loads of items in, it came in a large wicker hamper, with slippers, all sorts of lotions etc, and was very big... it was for a tenner, I saw it last week, but was ladden with bags, so could not buy it, I went there today and they had all sold out...

I've seen them half the size for 7.99, I was going to put it up for mothers day, or sis's birthday, but no joy..

So anyway I got a Marliyn Monroe box, which contains a dressing gown, bath bombs, bath salts, slippers I think, and loads of other marylin monroe pieces, all in a very large marylin monroe box, all for 6 quid.....

Got sis a marylin monroe manicure set, with nail varnish in it and files, hand lotion, in a lovely box all for 1.50..

Got my mom, a box with slippers, a foot massager, foot scrub, foot lotion, foot softner and soap, all for 3.50 - ....

They have been put up for nxt year, 1st time ever I've been this organised..

Walked round the corner to the high street, and there was another stall selling exactly the same items, for double the price......!!!!!

Glad I went to the market.....

Thanks GISI, Really appreciate your help. I will have a look and see where has offers on the grab bags, failing that it will be the buttons like you mention. I forgot to mention I also have a pack of 6 rocky bars in there. Now I just need to find my cello cones for the snowman soup and some more chocky chips! Not sure if I will put the nuts in as I am unsure about allergies with all of them to be honest so might be safer just to leave out? what do you think? I wanted to get another dvd but haven't got round to ordering one from play (I have another code) so that went out of the window. Still it means I have a code for my kiddies to put away for easter :)

    Hello every one

All hampers are looking fab as always !

But i am about at a standstill with presents.

    My mum has

    A stylophone ,
A new turban bath head towel

Those are her proper ones for the moment

Then i have done her a stocking with smellies

My dad i have brought nothing for , was going to buy him a memory card for the camera my mum is getting him but he will order a bigger one for cheaper from work on CpC or some thing so that would be a waste of time and money , he always gets loads of smellies for christmas , he doesnt need no shirts or anything,

My only thought was a pair of jeans , some socks and 4 cans of stella , but thats so original and boring , yet my mum has a retro toy from child hood along with smellies , and im also buying her dawn frenches dear fatty as she has said she wants that too lol..

    Grr,.
