junior_j your dad sounds like he has the same tastes as my OH (prob roughly the same age too:eek: ). how about a hamper with beer, snacks, nuts, guitar magazine (OH buys classic rock!), beer glass.

passion8 great basket - love the sewing basket. keep forgetting to look in Home Bargains!

rusty - I would do lots of little hampers. saying that i think I am putting all OH's things in one:rotfl: however...I don't think you can get too many hampers and lots of themed ones are nice (does that make sense!!)

Thankyou bunbun, I think I will see if I can put it together as a movie night hamper then, I have most of the bits in anyway so will be fairly easy to do I reckon :)
    Thanks for the help :)

    Hello every one

All hampers are looking fab as always !

But i am about at a standstill with presents.

    My mum has

    A stylophone ,
A new turban bath head towel

Those are her proper ones for the moment

Then i have done her a stocking with smellies

My dad i have brought nothing for , was going to buy him a memory card for the camera my mum is getting him but he will order a bigger one for cheaper from work on CpC or some thing so that would be a waste of time and money , he always gets loads of smellies for christmas , he doesnt need no shirts or anything,

My only thought was a pair of jeans , some socks and 4 cans of stella , but thats so original and boring , yet my mum has a retro toy from child hood along with smellies , and im also buying her dawn frenches dear fatty as she has said she wants that too lol..

    Grr,.

Hadn't thought of a bowl ... I wonder if bought box of popcorn would be better than the microwaveable ones ... now you have me thinking again I think I need to go shopping again ;) what a damn shame!

Home Bargains have big boxes of cinema popcorn. I prefer the ready made stuff cos I always burn the microwave popcorn:rotfl:
