  • Hi - I recently purchased the umberto giannini smooth curling tongs and their brill. Comes with a lovely pouch bag. Vey flashy looking packaging (which you can't view on the website unfortunatly) half price from Boots at £19.99.

If you are looking for cheaper ones - Wilkinsons were selling straightners, tongs and hair dryers priced between £8.99 - £15.00 from Vidal Sassoon.

£19.99, fab price! Just found these ones - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4425117/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHealth+and+personal+care%7C10199659/c_2/2%7Ccat_10199659%7CHair+care%7C10199687/c_3/3%7Ccat_10199687%7CCurlers+and+stylers%7C10199694.htm - I think Nicky Clarke is meant to be quite good?

Hi, they do look good - but no bag, so you'd end up paying out for the heat mat from ebay. I'm at the stage were 'trying not to buy for home delivery' as I worry tooo much about things getting to me. I always manage to of nipped out and missed the delivery man . Im sure if you can hang out till the weekend you'll get a brill deal on some. Have you tried places like Comet and Tesco?

  • I'm the same Aggie, I could never afford any pretty outdoor lights when I lived on my own with my son, last year my OH was new to christmas with kids (my daughter was only a few months old) but this year he has gone full circle and the kids love it!!! ... I forgot to mention he got 20% off the lights and reindeer aswell so the bill was slightly cheaper :rotfl: he claims he was being MSE by using a voucher ;)

Hi sorry to ask on this thread, but I lurk here all the time, and am currently making 4 hampers and love looking at your ideas.
I have also posted this on the Snowman soup thread but noone has been on since 7am and i need to let my mum know what to look for tomorrow.
I was wondering if Lakeland actually sell Cello cones or is it the disposable piping bags she is looking for - these http://www.lakeland.co.uk/disposable-icing-bags/F/keyword/piping/product/2664 I cant tell what these look like so I was hoping someone could let me know so she knows what to ask for as its a 60 mile round trip. I dont have an ebay account anymore so i cant get them off of there. many thanks
