    Argh, crisis....

A friend just came over and said she'd been inspired by my hamper making and was making her boyfriend a sushi hamper for Xmas - that's exactly what I've already made her and was intending to give her on Monday! WHAT DO I DO?!

I don't want to waste the hamper. I can think of other things to give her so that's not too much of a problem, but I don't have to get presents for anyone else and given that it's food it's going to go off if I don't find someone to give it to. Booo :(

Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.

I'm sure you can put her off til Monday. Say you'll mull it over during the weekend and you'll think up some ideas for her and let her know in a few days. If she sounds like she's gonna go shopping for things right away, you'll have to tell her, but I'm sure you can delay her for a bit.

My mum asked me to record Miracle on 34th St when it was on TV the other day. I'd already bought her the DVD for xmas, but luckily I won't be seeing her until the 23rd, so if she asks for the tape then, I'll pretend I 'can't find it in my case, but I'll have a good look tomorrow'...tee hee...sneeky!

Ahhhh....didn't realise she'd already done it. Well, I think you should give it to her anyway and have a good laugh about how great minds think alike! I'm sure she won't mind.

Thanks guys. Just asked another friend's advice and she's said she'll buy it off me for her boyfriend, haha :) So that's that problem solved - now to find something else to give my friend....

Sort of 'Girlie pamper night' hamper............face masks and stuff - maybe you could share a few bits and have a laugh about the sushi one at the same time

  • I've got a big box full of hamper fillers and big long lists of 'who's got what'... haha I am so excited, my box is getting bigger and bigger! Only 2 weeks to go, eeek.
  • I'm going to get my brother a personalised golf towel wit his name on it as mentioned before, but I don't know where I can get it the cheapest.. Ebay seems to be my best bet at about a fiver without p&p but I can't find one I like and google shopping doesn't seem to be giving me many suggestions - could anybody help please?
