rescuedogs My local Matalan hadn't even heard of them!!! In the end I've ordered a couple from ebay - a bit more expensive than in the store but I'm gonna use the blue one for DH's Xmas Eve Hamper and he's gonna use the pink one for my gifts - then next year I'll re-use them for birthdays for our nephews/nieces or Xmas!!! That way get our money's worth for the slightly extra spend!

I've looked for these boxes on ebay but cant find any, what did you put in your search box? I must have looked in about 10 Matalans but no luck!

Hi - I put 'Chalkboard Storage' in the search box - but I've just done it again and they don't come up - I think I must have got the last two!! Sorry...

For what it's worth I don't think I'd give anyone a hamper if they responded like that  But I think the words 'discussion threads' and 'hampers' puts some people off ... until they see them ;)

(I still wouldn't take the time or make the effort though - but that's just me.)
I gave various family members hampers recently and they were delighted and very pleasantly surprised. I had mentioned a hamper and they were expecting scotch eggs and sausage rolls... :rotfl: They got a retro sweet hamper and journal in a jar set etc....

Sorry not been keeping up with this thread been a bit pre occupied. Very nice hampers every one, you are all doing fantastic jobs.

I have read some where on here about family not always being happy to get hampers. Sorry if I read wrong in middle of doing more than one thing. Any ways my family get what they are given and if they dnt like it then thats there problem, in my eyes they should be gratefull to get any thing lol. (Mind you that's how I was brought up I think, but I dnt pass it on to my daughter lol)

Any ways mine are nearly done just need to wrap most of them and I have to finish my mums. It was going to be a chocolate and bath products but to be honest she dnt use bath products unfortuantly. So its a choclate and pot of gold type thing. Just hope she will be happy with it, as I think she was expecting a good present but tuff I dnt have the money to do it.

Anyways keep up the good work everybody.
