Thanks, just given me a great idea to do (on the cheap!)... going to make my own little kit with a heart crepe mold, a little pot of strawberry sauce and a packet of pancake mix! :rotfl: Does anybody know where I can find a cheap mold like this one: http://www.cookability.biz/kitchen-craft-silicone-heart-egg-ring/b_1906.htm?SRC=GB1 ? If not I might just order that one, just want to avoid P&P charges!

We never use our coffee machine anymore, but the cafetiere never gets put in the cupboard. I can recommend the mandheling sumatra. It has a slight caramel flavour-very smooth. Also love the flavoured coffees. Blueberry cobbler...mmm....sorry, getting distracted now!
I'm a big fan of these products too http://www.borntoshop.biz/index.html Maybe you will find something for your nan in this range-she sounds very young at heart!

Can anyone give me some advice on what to use to fill the bottom of hampers that are too deep, to bring the gifts up to the right level for wrapping?? I know some people include a towel in the gifts etc, and use that, but I'm not doing that and I'm stuuuuck!! I did wrap three for my little cousins last night using shredded cardboard at the bottom, but they leaked cardboard dust underneath through the wicker, so I won't be using that again! And shredded tissue is great for decoration, but hasn't got enough bulk! Rant over lol:rotfl:
Hi - I'm totally new to this but started making my first lot of hampers today!! Have completed 7 today!! Just need the finishing touches such as the cellophane and ribbons. Anyway, I've got quite a few deep-ish baskets and have discovered a good way to fill them up today - we shred just about everything in this house so I'm using that shredded paper - putting it into cheap white bin bags and then covering it with either one sheet of coloured tissue paper or where I've got coloured paper to shred I've used that to cover up the bin bag - really easy & free!!!! YAY!!!

Well i am making my Godsons brother (eldest one) hamper tonight.
It will contain
Robin hood figurine
Transformer colour posters
Bugs (rubber)
Huge rubber trantula
Art/craft set.
Just have to wrap the basket and add the contents then wrap.
Then just have to make up my brothers dvd set and my mum and dads mini stocking hampers!

Sons shoe box I felt looked a bit pathetic for him so I've done a smaller matching one with a few extras
Coffee mug with coffee/cream flannels rolled round (supposed to look like coffee)
Can of 'Pick 'n Mix' useless sayings and sweets
White flannel rolled up like mini christmas cake with red/holly patterned ribbon and sprig of holly on top
Cost about £3
OH says I've given him far to many flannels..........but what the heck..........:rotfl:Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
