Now await the second......................
And the useless FSCS will not give us any idea of why they actually need several weeks for their system to cope with a couple of hundrand thousand simple BACS transfers.
In reality I am sure they are playing for time while they probably try to raise more money from the government or elsewhere.0 -

Sorry, but in this case, I do not believe TalkTalk is deserving of being accused of passing the buck. The workaround is around the mess the FSCS created by not thinking the process through or having the expertise to do it properly.0 -

I too wonder why they are taking so long, it makes one think someone is trying to stretch the operation out as long as they can to 'make a meal' of it.
It does not seem quite fair that some people got their cash on Tuesday yet others may have to wait 3 weeks, I estimate that if it's another 20 days till I get mine and then another 5 or 6 to get in another Fixed account I shall lose around £400 in lost interest and that's assuming that their are any decent rates left then.
I was not unhappy that we lost interest initially but it ought to be a level playing field rather than a lottery as to who gets their cash out first, it means some of us are going to be a lot worse off than others.:mad:0 -

Regulatory checks and investigations should have stopped this deliberately miselading behaviour by some of Icesave's UK employees but unfortunately in this case those processes seem to have completely failed.
What evidence do you have for your libellous statement?0 -

The Orange website is down for maintenace until, I think, about 3pm today. That will also affect mail2web as their servers won't be allowing any emails through until then.
Hope you have a nice surprise waiting for you when it comes back on-line. :j0 -

The mail2web is still working, not got any icesave mail though, not in any hurry, it's not my money really0 -
Still waiting for the first e-mail.
I've sent the "REQUEST" mail to them and 'phoned the helpline a couple of times (no help whatsoever) but still nothing.
I can see my accounts on the Icesave website, together with an FSCS "Initiate" column but can't do anything (I get a message saying I need to wait for the e-mails first).
I use Pipex as my ISP and have no spam filtering set up this end.
Am I the last ?0
