Aww bless you all, I will have to find room in my sig too :j
Ok so a mini update... 5 more hours overtime on Sunday :j Plus 5 more the week after (payed in July) :j So thats 26 hours overtime in Junes pay which before tax would give me approx £156 :j Way more than I need for Argos...
However I will need to borrow £20 from mum this month :rolleyes: I might be ok but I dont think I will. But I will have at least £65 spare next month if Argos is cleared in June as overtime so it should put me out that much. I have approx £4 in paypal but the wedding invites call for some gems that I dont actually hold the 100 or so I will need :rolleyes: They are only about £2 so its not too bad.
Other than that I am still plodding :j Have a fab weekend all0 -

Sounds good, PaP. :T :T
If there's any more overtime going, give me a shout, please. I haven't had a shift from ASDA since Sunday - I was due in this afternoon and evening, but they phoned me, just as I was putting on my uniform, to say that they didn't [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] need me today. :mad: :mad:
I have no work booked with them until next Friday when, doubtless, they will call again to say they don't [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] need me. :rolleyes:
I think that they are taking the mickey a little bit - I don't mind the 'seasonal' aspect of the job, but have always been there at the drop of a hat when they have been in trouble - often at less than five minutes notice. Staff loyalty really is paper thin. :rolleyes:
Never mind - I am eagerly awaiting an email on the job that I put in for last month, and have, this week, applied for a further three jobs - fingers crossed.
So we all keep on 'Plodding along'.

:mad: Rog, for me see its the opposite as we are spread so thinly and they just wont recruit :rolleyes: However this is all on the back of a 'youngster' leaving, I dont mind doing overtime but its when they want you in each day for 4 hours :rolleyes: Anyways I hope you have some good news from your new applications...
Keep plodding :j0 -

That just about sums them up, beanie. Currently there is a 'blitz' on wages and they are using 'contracted' people who would, normally, be working in other areas, as 'drivers' - seems to be enough just to have a 'full' driving licence.
The annoying thing is that they usually send out a second person to 'help' these people. I am no accountant, but that surely can not be cost effective.
Never mind, though - hopefully one of my applications will be successful. I will have great pleasure in saying that I am not available the next time that they ring me up at ten past eight, for a nine o'clock start, because another driver has called in sick.

Rog ~ What a huge pain. I cant believe thy wont give you a small amount of hours. Even if its only 5/10 a week :mad: As you say they will get there come back
Any news on the application front anyway?
Raph ~ Fridge frezzer is fab, for the price mum is over the moon... however after that went the chip pan went (however I still had the reciept and it was under 6 montsh old) and the toaster decided to catch fireWell they say things come in three's :rotfl: Yep CD well under way, week four just now and been 100% since day one. Managed 17lb so far but I wont have a weigh in this week as my CDC is on holiday. It is quite easy but the hard days are really bad however I have only had about three since starting so thats not too bad... just plodding along :T
~~~~~~~
So its nearly payday (well 15 days) :T Thank heavens because I only have £5 left and I need that for postage. I seem to have mucked up my overtime and calculated wrong, it may just be my working out I dont know but I will still have a fair bit if not all to pay off Argos next month.
I have also set myself little rewards so that will cost about £15 every 2/3months while on CD but I am happy with spending that money seeing as I am now spending very little. Obviously each month I will factor in the £15 just incase I hit target. I also need some supplements now so that will be an extra £10 a month but its a need rather than a maybe.
So here is my soa for next month ~
Income = £594 (approx)
£120.00 ~ Rent (mum reduced this by £40 while I am on CD but has since reduced it £20 more. When I have to move up the plans/have my add a meal week I will pay £140 that month)
£13.00 ~ House ins
£12.50 ~ Line rental
£63.00 ~ internet
£22.00 ~ Bus ticket
£21.00 ~ SU club
£20.00 ~ postage/’me’ money
£5.00 ~ locked saver
£15.00 ~ target treat
£10.00 ~ tablets
£160.00 ~ meal packs
Total = £461.50
Leaves £132.50 for Argos
If I could pay at least £100 off argos this month that will only leave £47 for next month. Obviously because its internet month a lot more is coming out of my accountAnyways I still feel its positive. I am going to see what happens on payday as to what money I recieve and go from there but overall my soa looks fine.
Also I have a list of my craft stuff that I want to get sold. So far I could make in the region of £180 as I will be selling some of my main items. Obvously I cant list them all etc untill payday when I can use the money that I will pay to argos as postage. If they are all sold and the money clears that will be payed straight off argos and be placed into my savings account for my 'free' holiday in October.
So all in all its fab :j
Just keep plodding :rotfl:0
