Hey my own little tribe of Plodders ~ love it :rotfl: However may we not be plodders for long :j
So money wise... I ended up using the money in my paypal account for a stamp. Its for some wedding invites that I will get a token payment for. The invites will actually be my wedding gift to the bride and groom so no need to worry about that :j :j
However bad news in paps house  So our fridge frezzer has been knocking around for a few years, nearly 15 if more. However about 2 months ago there was a huge bang in the kitchen... turns out the metal element (?) on the back of the appliance had broken off and fell to the side. Of course we just carryed on and mum said when she has some money saved she will buy a new one. Tonight we lost power in the house  turns out the appliance was tripping the electric. Saved the food though but the appliance has had it. So my trusted Argos 0% card had to be dusted down  However its not my debt and I know it will be payed as I trust my Mum now more than ever... So there we go... my name is effectively still in debt for at least 6 months... needs must though0 -

We could have our own song 'Merrily we plod along, plod along' - perhaps not.
PaP - sorry to hear about the fridge/freezer. There should, however, be some good bargains about at the moment. Have you tried Comet - a friend of mine has recently bought a fridge freezer off of their website - apparently they have a section for 'end of line' and 'returns'. His f/f has a tiny scratch on it (you really can NOT see it) and was refused by the original customer - he got it for about half of the original price, with full warranty. Worth a look?I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

:rotfl: Rog... I did look at other websites but there wasn't much in it really. We ended up going for one in the sale that was £120 instead of £195. Not too bad we thought plus they will remove the old fridge for £7 whereas it would have cost £25 for the council to take it away. So thats the one we chosse. We didnt need another freezer as we have a chest freezer but this one has a small on ontop. I think it is ideal as obviously we had to have a fridge :rolleyes:0
