Have discovered that the shed is empty... and tidy... so can put stuff in there and make some space in the garage (neither is particularly weather-proof).

Have also found more junk to get rid of...:o

Frankie - despite what Triker says, I love my dyson. Then again, I've only had cheap vacuum cleaners before which are a complete waste of money. I use it mostly on hard floors (I don't have a hard floor tool, and it's fine without it), and I like being able to see how much dirt I'm collecting... it was scary when I first got it

All this talk about motivation (just caught up on you all from last night) has got me thinking that I could do with some of that 'lifestyle makeover' stuffs, so if greenbee and flower don't mind, I'd like to join in that macaw.
Now, just got to figure out how exactly one makes over a lifestyle. I seem to be lacking things to get motivated for so I think thats what I need to work on, finding things in life that I enjoy, I don't think I have any actual hobbies, thinking about it. Aha!:j Macaw found....find a hobby...don't think it'll be that simple somehow, but its a start.

    Hi Ashia,
You're more than welcome to join in the MACAW but it sounds like you have a good one yourself anyway.
Greenbee is right, I am sure it's the weather, dark mornings/evenings and all the talk of doom and gloom everywhere affecting everyone at the moment, Like Soappie I think we are all solar powered, and have just depleted our supplies... (Good luck with your journey today, hope you got there safe and sound...:D )

One thing I have decided is that I think I was trying to do too much in one hit - too many things to think about becomes too much of a chore and hard work and I have other things to think about, so I am going to do my lists, pick out the most important, work on that for set times, give myself breaks in between and stick to my MACAW, build up slowly as they say... I'm not going to beat myself up about the stuff that doesn't get done.

Right, off to hit those shops now. DS has been given 'another' chance at college and school, but one more strike and he's out of both, so he really needs to pull his socks up. I think I will have to put him back on his medication as we took him off during the summer holidays, but he obviously needs them so I will go with him to speak to the doc to start them again. Don't like them but they do help him.

See you all later (when I catch up...)

I'm trying to tidy my study. Already "borrowed" the flat pack crates which were supposed to be used for sorting out the basement. Would just like one tidy room that I can relax in!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

    Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thats slightly better:rolleyes: .

I am not having a good day.

Firstly i got up late 7.40:eek: i was supposed to be taking the kids to school at 8.15 so there was no way i was going to be ready on time i had to ask OH to take them.

I had Toddlers at 9 so i thought i won't rush i'll get there about 8.55 and the Mums can help me set up. I was walking across when i saw one of the mums who said what time's the photographer coming? I'd forgotton and they were coming at 8.30:cool::o so they were outside and not very happy.

Ds2 just had normal clothes on so i had to phone OH again to get him a smart top:rolleyes: . All this time i'm feeling like carp as i've got a sore throat and cold.

We're supposed to be having a firework party tonight so i asked OH if he would help me with the cleaning as i'm not feeling very well. He wasn't really amused but said he would.

OH comes over about 12 ish with some wood for the fire, so i help him carry it into the garden. He's then moaning saying he can't help with the cleaning and he doesn't know why i need to do it:confused: and if he has to help then he's cancelling it. He then said get the kids to do the cleaning when they get home from school but it's too late then i'd be doing the food and they'd be in my way.

So i said why can't you just help me it won't take long so he says if it won't take long why don't you do it yourself:mad:  .

So we had a row and he punched the hotdog rolls:confused: and ruined them.

I took Ds2 to nursery and he text me saying he's cancelled it as he can't do it all by himself:confused: ( he can't but i can ).

So i'm fuming now . I know he's helped me out this morning but it won't kill him to help me with the cleaning for a party he arranged and invited people i don't even know.

Is it me am i being unreasonable?
  • Hi guys

I've not been posting this week because i feel so down at the moment, but i think that is probably a bad reason not to, so i am here. :o

It's the PND again, not helped by DS2 crying all the time apart from when i'm holding him, and DS1 being a royal pain in the backside. I know it is because he is fed up of me spending all my time with DS2 and not him, but i don't know how to change it really. I made sure we got out in the garden for half an hour earlier - we were just kicking leaves about and then ds1 went on the trampoline, but it left me a bit better. I have been so tearful all week, and i know i need to do something to snap out of it, but it is really quite hard. I ended up shouting at the boys yesterday, then feeling really guilty as they both then got even more upset. I just feel like hitting my head on something to switch it all out.

Also, lots of stupid things happening that are getting on top of me. Latest being that DH had a letter because he was caught on a speed camera, but rather than tell me about it he left it on the side so i accidentally saw it. I'd rather him just tell me. And a letter this morning - i have been charged for not paying my CC. If you knew me, it will show where my head is as i have never been charged before and i had clean forgot using the card - couldn't even remember opening a bill. I really need to try and get my head around things a bit more.

I've not a lot useful to contribute - the WM is on its 3rd load of the day as the baskets are all overflowing again - i think i need to have a plan of attack for over the weekend to try and get on top of the place a bit more. DH working away tonight so i am on my own, and might have a bit of space to think.

Thanks for listening to my rambles girls.

Well my HHC went pear shaped. Postman arrived with a recorded delivery letter that contained my brother's will along with a letter from him giving various instructions as to what he wants at his funeral etc. And he ended it with a request for stamps :rotfl:He does have a sense of humour.

Then ex hubby rang and yacked for 30 mins. But I have managed so far..............

    DW on
Kitchen tided and wiped. Floor swept and mopped
2 loads of washing on the line. :TBeen ages since I played with my pegs:rotfl:
    WM just finished another load
    Downstairs toilet S & S
LR hoovered and tided and stuff taken upstairs

    Ummmmmmmm that's it I think

    Who's up for another?

    HHC 1.45 - 2.15 Anyone?

I love my Dyson too, I have two very hairy dogs (have to vacuum twice a day or it looks like I've got carpet instead of laminate...)
It is AMAZING what comes out of the carpet when you first use it - and indead after you've used it for a while, and what I love about it is the way I empty it - hold it over the bin, press a button and voila, empty vacuum...(well sometimes with the amount of dog hair in it means I have to shake it a bit, but hey, still easy...) The Miele sounds good, but not tried it and don't know of anyone that has, but I think they are the best two by the sounds of it.

Maybe see if the place you buy it from will let you trial a couple???

    Big hugs Michelle and Holly.

Not done much flying today as have been at my exam, have however done the dishes and S&S'd the kitchen, put a load in the WM and am about to go iron my uniform before i go to work.

I have a dyson animal and really like it, like to be able to see my dirt - but then i'm weird like that.

Good luck finding the ring [strike]gryfon[/strike].christmasshopper:p
