    FrankieM...Miele cat and dog here.

I shall try and join you as well Tag. Feeling a tad bit depressed about my inability to do housework so need to get something back under control!

  • I'm having a major panic!
I don't know what to do. I don't know if to be sick or if to cry._pale_
Last night when I went to do my 15 minute floordrobe I found one of my DD's baby teeth on my bedside table. I have kept all my childrens baby teeth in my jewellery box (I hope you don't think this is too odd :o ). So I went to put this one in the box and discovered that 2 of my rings were missing. A nice big diamond cluster that DH gave me and my grandma's eternity ring.
I couldn't remember the last time I saw them. So, after 4 hours of searching high and low I found the cluster in a ring box with another ring and a bracelet that I had forgotten all about. But I can't find granny's ring anywhere.
I have spoken to Mr CS on the phone and he said if necessary he will lift all the furniture out of the bedroom tomorrow so that I can look under and behind everything.
I am filled with dread. I fear I may have hoovered it up or put it in the washing machine with the bedding by mistake.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
  • Oh by the way...Good afternoon ladies.

THANK YOU VALLI!! i read that post and it made me smile for first time in a few days...
Thank you - if a relationship isn't balanced and healthy it isn't worth being in IMHO - sometimes though it's hard to think that you are going to be 'on your own' but remember you have family and friends who love you and will support you and we are always here when you want to let off steam. I no longer believe in accepting second best...been there, done that - it isn't worth it. There are lots of us who can help with the practical questions too - so do ask. Take care xxxx

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: or so we say...

I'm not going to tell you about my two because I don't have any laminate and I don't have a dog... I do like my upstairs vacuum though.

Try not to panic CS. If your DD is anything like mine then perhaps ask her 'gently' if she has seen or been playing with them.

    Hello everyone...how are you all??

I'm being very cheeky...looking for some vacuum cleaner advice/ recommendations.
I know you guys actually use yours, so I was wondering what are good ones that are not too expensive that'll clean up after 4 kinders, a flatcoat retriever and husband...laminate floors downstairs, carpet upstairs and on the stairs...?

I have a henry which I love but it is crap on the hallway boards.. I know you can get a laminate head but I just don't have one for mine.. otherwise it would be grand.. I'd go for the miele cat and dog if I had the funds!

I love it. But I don't think I deserve any credit for it. I pinched it off an old lady. :rotfl:
