A friend of mine is a nurse and a couple of years ago ago she was nursing an old lady. One day when she was about to end her shift the old lady asked what she was going to do for the rest of the day. She said she had loads of housework to do. The old lady lady said, "When you are old like me dear, you won't remember the days you spent doing housework. You will remember the days you didn't".
Great quote

Flower - maybe you could alternate your swimming with a brisk early morning walk (fine to do at the crack of dawn if you've got company) and maybe train for something like the Moonwalk? I have monthly gym membership of £35 and it now seems even more of a bargain than before! If I USE it... it means that I can't spend money or eat while I'm in the gym/class/pool, and I've met some really nice people there as well.
