One of my jobs today was to ring the letting agents, which I did (shower issues, long term...really annoying now!). Told me they didn't know anything yet but would try andfind out, now they've gone and rung oh whose at work all day andgiven me thewrong number for the office we're suppose to be ringing. Why would they ring him when I rang them? Just doesn't make sense......okay rant over. Now have to decide wheather I'm gonna ring them up again and ask for the number, or leave it for him when he gets home. decsions, decsions. Now MARRIED!11/09/100

Yes I am - no relationship is worth compromising your peace of mind for - when we were together I felt like a pig in the middle - kids on one side, him on the other...not healthy...
My single pleasures...- If I want to leave the house in a mess I can.
- When I change the bed I get in to clean sheets because no one has beaten me to it. (because for ages I NEVER did get the benefit! It seemed he was either at work or in bed - and it wasn't a strenuous job...)
- My house my rules.
- If I want to go out with friends (day or night) I can.
- If I want to send text messages/e mails unhindered I can.
- I can talk to anyone without coming under suspicion.
- If I want to skip a meal I can.
- I don't have to wash up, clean windows, wash clothes because someone wants/needs these things doing.
- I am far less stressed.
- I have the support of friends and family and flyladies when I want.
- If I want to stay at work to get something finished I can.
- I choose what I feel like cooking.
- I don't have to buy christmas presents and birthday presents for people I don't love (or like even).
- I can do some DIY jobs myself...properly.
- I can choose decorations/furniture and when to decorate.
THANK YOU VALLI!! i read that post and it made me smile for first time in a few days...0 -

Hello everyone...how are you all??
I'm being very cheeky...looking for some vacuum cleaner advice/ recommendations.
I know you guys actually use yours, so I was wondering what are good ones that are not too expensive that'll clean up after 4 kinders, a flatcoat retriever and husband...laminate floors downstairs, carpet upstairs and on the stairs...?0 -

Glass polished, and now on cabinet. Everything else dusted and put back (sunshine kind of highlights the issue - I think I'm going to have to rename my living room, as I haven't been in there for nearly a week, so clearly I don't live in it!
Smoke alarms tested, windows opened, and I've remembered that I cleaned all my lampshades earlier this week.
Facial was fabulous - it included head, neck, shoulder, arm & hand massage. I'm now going to spend a few hours blitzing the place in the hope that as I do so my packing for the weekend and packing up of the utility room will happen by default!
I'm not posting my list, as its too embarrassing, but I'll be back with updates later!0 -
I will join you Tag0

I forgot to put earlier that I stripped my bed today and got two loads of washing done. Sunshine for the first day this week and half of it is dry and put away already. Bed remade.0
