Is it me am i being unreasonable?

Why would you even think you were being unreasonable asking for help when you are ill?
Apologies to Tom, but it's no wonder men get a bad press on this thread.

He says he's ill too which he is but it's ok for me to do it all.

He keeps saying he can't do it all and now he's cancelling xmas as it's too much trouble:confused: .

I wasn't asking for him to do it all just to help so i don't have to do it all:mad:  .

Hi everyone. Have just skim read the posts and it seems as there are quite a few who are out of sorts at the moment. In some way, I'm afraid it made me feel better as I'm sat here at my laptop, almost falling asleep and yet I know I have a yr 11 class to teach soon followed by a revision session ready for Monday's exam. Just wish I could wake up!!!!

Awwww Michelle no words of wisdom but just wanted to send you a hug, ((((((((((Michelle)))))))))

Holly no you are not being unreasonable, not at all! - men  I did laugh though when I read he punched the hot dog rolls - sorry :o

I've shuffled round the living room with a bin bag and flung/tidied all the crap that was lying everywhere - then watched over proceedings whilst teenie hoovered the floor - it was awful  so the living room's looking a little better...needs a clean and the floor mopping but that wont be today. Haven't ventured upstairs yet....

The plumber is back to finish of a few bits , he is fitting a new door on the bathroom he fitted last week , I have just gone to the kitchen and the dinning room kitchen and bathroom is covered in a blanket of sawdust , He saw the look of horror on my face and said he would hoover when he has finished. We shall see.

    My single pleasures...
    • If I want to leave the house in a mess I can.
    • When I change the bed I get in to clean sheets because no one has beaten me to it. (because for ages I NEVER did get the benefit! It seemed he was either at work or in bed - and it wasn't a strenuous job...)
    • My house my rules.
    • If I want to go out with friends (day or night) I can.
    • If I want to send text messages/e mails unhindered I can.
    • I can talk to anyone without coming under suspicion.
    • If I want to skip a meal I can.
    • I don't have to wash up, clean windows, wash clothes because someone wants/needs these things doing.
    • I am far less stressed.
    • I have the support of friends and family and flyladies when I want.
    • If I want to stay at work to get something finished I can.
    • I choose what I feel like cooking.
    • I don't have to buy christmas presents and birthday presents for people I don't love (or like even).
    • I can do some DIY jobs myself...properly.
    • I can choose decorations/furniture and when to decorate.
I am sure there are more...

Thanks for that you have made me feel so lucky cause I can do all of those and have my hubbie - that is not meant to sound smug at all, it has just made me realise he's a good egg (even if he does spend too much time on his pc)
