    Dyson emptied

Utility room emptied, garage tidied, shed and garage locked up. Have started loading car... packing will be somewhat random...

Am taking mending and laundry to my mum's.

Kitchen is a tip... but I won't be here to see it!

Am now going to fling some stuff into a suitcase and hope it make sense when I get there!

Wasn't me who lost the ring but hope whoever has finds it soon. We did loose Mr G's wedding ring once, found it on DD1's floor under a pile of junk!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Anyone else buy clothes because you like them then realise they don't go with anything else so you have a lot of 'bits' you don't wear.

  • Thanks you guys.

A few hugs have made me feel a lot better. It makes a difference knowing other people feel like it too and i am not some sort of non-maternal freak. I know i should get out the house more as i am sure that is a good bit of the problem, particularly yesterday as i have had a few big online shopping orders of stuff come through, and i couldn't get round the living room for empty boxes, packs of nappies etc, and couldn't really do anything about it, so it made me low. It's a bit easier today as we dealt with it last night and put stuff in garage/recycling bin etc.

Both boys seem a bit happier for being outside today too.

I guess i don't go to the baby groups as most of them are naff - i used to go to one with my sisters, and now they don't go as there kids are too old, and the other one costs £5.50 for the hour, and i don't always think it worthwhile, but i suppose now and again i should go - i suppose even walking up to baby clinic would be 'something' to do.

I think i am going to do some xmas present wrapping tonight once the boys are in bed, and then i might feel more organised and in turn feel better.

christmasshopper hope that ring turns up - when us flyladies have lost things before it has mostly fallen down behind the back of drawers - i'm thinking anw's mum's passport found in the kitchen. It will be somewhere very weird when you find it i am sure.

holly sounds like you are having a rough one. I don't think you were unfair either. Why are we supposed to be able to do everything?

He has been invited to attend Tai Chi classes after school to help him deal with academic stress - a less stressed kid you have YET to see - yeah he gets annoyed (and stressed) with me when I won't do his bidding - but stressed at school - he is so laid back he is permanently horizontal.

tai Chi for parents - that's what WE need!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Valli - joking aside... maybe Tai Chi would help a few of the people who are feeling down at the moment. We used to have lunchtime sessions at work and it was great to take time out from the hectic, noisy day and focus inwards rather than outwards.

Have you thought how scarily clever your DS would be if he actually tried?!
