(and I get cross when people mix up formerly and formally too - when my Uncle died we phoned in his obituary and they described him as being 'formally of XXXXXX Road, Blackburn:rolleyes: ) I am sure he was quite casual, sometimes.

I can't panic till next month as I have no money to spend at the moment! Although I haven't made any Christmas puddings and I'm wondering if it's too late now?

  • Evening all!

Checking in before dashing off to orchestra rehearsal. It seems that posting on here is having a positive effect on my flat, even the one day after my unplanned absence...

Big hugs for holly, gryfon, pigpen, michelle and all others who need them - a skim read of the day's activity tells me it's not been a good day for many - and holly he sounds completely unreasonable.

An even bigger hug for Valli... cos its friday my lovely, huzzah...

I've had a fun day at work and have two super new students with me who are fun to teach and enthusiastic about the job. Which makes my whole day brighter. Sadly I'm working every day over the weekend but I will have two whole days off mid week which will be super fun.

Time for a quick dash round with the hoover and off to abuse my cello some more!

Thought you might want to see this. Martin Lewis is a financial export who
is usually seen on GMTV and other programmes. He's got this really good
website. I have found this article about MOT's and how you can actually
use council test centres instead of garages. Anyway, all the information is
    in the attached.

Just had this off a mate...she's been working hard today then!:rotfl:(Not my typo either). Wonder how long it'll be before she finds me?

johanne once your emotions start settling down you will LOVE living alone....I guarantee it.
    .

i DID live alone... and loved it! I was 19 and rented a gorgeous 2 bed house all to myself then i met OH and "musical houses" began...

First I moved in with him in his hovel because "he had a mortgage"....then we split up...... and so i moved out to this house we live in now (which CAN be nice... as twas my grandmas place) and i lived alone here for over a year up until i was 8 months pregnant .....i was fine being alone with him living 20 mins walk away..... then OH started staying over and finally decided to move in as was "silly" living apart with a baby...... but he didnt continue paying his mortgage and couldnt be bothered getting his house in saleable condition so it just ended up getting repossessed couple months ago..... and now hes stuck here with nowhere else to go!!

My place is a tip with just "stuff" everywhere and the place now looks like some scummy family lives here who dont give a ****... and i am ashamed to even let me own dad in - and he OWNS the house ... nevermind letting strangers in :o:o:o The only positive of him leaving is i would have space and a nice house again.

(Edited loads of time cos it didnt read correctly)

Pigpen, showed him pictures of that, says it's not the right one, I might have to ring the school and ask :o he said now he thinks it was lettuce but he really doesn't know I don't think. Thank you, nice to have people to share it with because most people don't understand how hard it can be.

Johanne, I think ther eis a few more positives than that to be honest if he's showing you as little respect as you say.

Valli, someone I know was going on about the site a few weeks ago, I'd told her numerous times about it but she'd decided to ignore it until she needed it :rotfl: wouldn't say we're credit crunch proof but being here a little while now ;) I just nodded and agreed with her.

    List for this evening -
Kick kids to bed at 7pm if they don't stop fighting
Scream loudly at the dogs who constantly follow me
Lay in a dark room and ignore the world
Ignore the laundry mountain and just use it as a pillow
Dump my stuff on the floor like everyone else has

Ok maybe I should do a real one.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
