Ohhhh and forgot to tell you girlies the BEST part of the whole saga today...

OH/ex-OH/that person i live with now...... actually rang the CCCS today after 15 months of me asking him to do it..... one of the 3 things i asked him to do which caused the row which made him decide to leave...

He has already started helping in the house which was the other one....

Just one thing he wont change now..... which is the sticking point and why he said he's leaving.

I just dont understand WHY he has finally made the call..!! Why not do it 15 months ago and all the grief would have been avoided?!!

That's just like my ex- kept asking him to come to Relate...(Marriage Guidance as was) and he said 'no' then, almost at the end he said he would and told me to phone them - I said, that as I had been asking him and asking him to come there with me he could phone them - he wouldn't.

He moves into his 'new' house today with his 'girl'friend - third GF in 4 years (and the second one he has lived with) ...not been with her a year yet...

So Johanne - for what it's worth this is what I think is going on with your OH...

He will have made the call then he can say 'but you asked me to - and I did' and will conveniently 'forget' how long it actually took him to do it...

And when he meets someone new he will explain your break up by saying he doesn't understand why it happened because his ex - you - asked him to help in the house -and he did, you asked him to phone CCCS and he did and any new girlfriend will believe him and assume YOU were being unreasonably demanding - it's a fault shifting tactic! Sorry to be so cynical...

Evening - sorry, i've had no time to read the thread at all today. I had my two 'swap' treatments this morning and then worked this afternoon. Then we got the Wii out to 'test' it (I managed to knock a full pint of water all over the floor whilst 'testing' it:rotfl: .

I really ought to look at what the list is but i'm so relaxed and chilled I might just go to bed! DH has taken the children rollerblading....they wanted to go and I said i'm not taking them anywhere on a Friday! I do enough running round during the week. They talked DH into taking them.

Right, I might peek at the list and then pretend I haven't read it :rotfl: xx

nicki have you tried Tesco for ink? They do copies of the cartridges, my printer they are about half the price for the Tesco own ones. Another option is ebay where they are usually cheaper too.

I'll have to look into that. Ex always insisted on only using "branded" ones so its a bad habit I've picked up :o

    My single pleasures...
    • If I want to leave the house in a mess I can.
    • When I change the bed I get in to clean sheets because no one has beaten me to it. (because for ages I NEVER did get the benefit! It seemed he was either at work or in bed - and it wasn't a strenuous job...)
    • My house my rules.
    • If I want to go out with friends (day or night) I can.
    • If I want to send text messages/e mails unhindered I can.
    • I can talk to anyone without coming under suspicion.
    • If I want to skip a meal I can.
    • I don't have to wash up, clean windows, wash clothes because someone wants/needs these things doing.
    • I am far less stressed.
    • I have the support of friends and family and flyladies when I want.
    • If I want to stay at work to get something finished I can.
    • I choose what I feel like cooking.
    • I don't have to buy christmas presents and birthday presents for people I don't love (or like even).
    • I can do some DIY jobs myself...properly.
    • I can choose decorations/furniture and when to decorate.
I am sure there are more...

:T:T:T:T Thank you for reminding me of the advantages of being single, I was getting that "I wish there was someone here" feeling, but its just because I'm ill and missing the convenience of having a car :rotfl::rotfl: (next thing on my "TO DO BEFORE I'M 40" list - learn to drive and buy a car ;) )

Don't know whats going on here today but I had this urge before so I decided to sort it out - I cleaned my bedroom window inside and out, and then cleaned the livingroom window outside (inside was done last week when I put the extra glazing on) and then cleaned the brass on the front door  It hasn't been done in weeks (more like months :o ).

I've also changed my bed, sorted out all the washing and cleaned the bathroom (including demoulding it) I wouldn't wonder but I didn't get in until gone 1pm :rotfl::rotfl:

Best go serve up the pizza for tea, then I'll tackle the desk & ironing when DD has gone to bed.

    Evening everyone.

Was too tired when I got in from work last night to catch up and post.
