The journey was interesting. I was diverted along roads through the New Forest that I've never driven over before. They are almost single track. A lot of folding in of wing mirrors and driving up verges went on in order to be able to pass the diverted traffic coming the other way. I had a quick conversation with a lorry driver coming the other way at one point who was so close, we could have hugged. My car is now covered in mud on the passenger side and is in dire need of a clean. I shall do that tomorrow
But I am grateful I survived the journey, I did my day's work and I came home again. I am still alive.

soappie, makes me think when things like that happen, we get it so much more here being effected by accident traffic as we're nearer the busier roads, makes me cross with myself if I get impatient and find out it's not just some moron who can't drive 'fell off the road'.
Not done much so far, need to do something, need to eat too, right pre dinner challenge, will start cooking when I get my bum off the seat, should be ready about 10.10pm, will work until serving!
Oh cleaning car, that's DPs job (I usually help however) wonder if I can get him to do mine this weekend. One day I might be more organised...........

I feel a bit selfish now after reading LG and soappies posts. My troubles are small, and i just need to keep that in perspective.
I have managed a lovely soak and scrub in the tub, so i am feeling a bit better, and some cheese on toast for my comfort food. I think it is wine o clock now. I have a lovely glass of rose that DH bought me last week. When he was late home due to work last Friday, he told his boss he would get into grief, so he sent him home with money for a takeaway for us. I'd already started cooking, so instead he picked up wine and chocolate.
I think i am going to veg out in front of the telly for the rest of the night and finish a magazine i was reading. Apparently, i can think myself happier, and also make myself healthier by having lots of sex - it makes you less stressed, i could look less wrinkly because of extra collagen being made, ease depression and lots of other snippets. I hope the next mag i pick up tells me how to create the extra time to figure in the amount i would need. :rotfl:
valli thanks for posting the morrisons link. As i shop there anyway, i will be taking advantage of that, i have been buying lots early for chrimbo anyway - in fact i think i only need nice ham, and fresh stuff nearer the time - everything else is in the freezer or pantry. There was a great big list of exclusions though, so be careful if you do it.
Right, off to relax, which i can't really do on the computer chair.

Hi,
Hope everyone is well and welcome newbies/returners. Since I last posted I've done errands, done laundry, spent time with my friend and emptied bins. Goodnight!0 -
Soappie I'm glad your journey wasn't too bad and how sad for the lady involved.

I never did get to clean the bathroom. The electrician was here until 4.45 and then I had to change and go to work. Will have to be tomorrow now after DH has done the painting.
Back to catching up on reading.0 -
