  • Morning All :hello:

Valls your editing of Johanne's to do list made me roar with laughter. I could think of a few to add to that list Jo.

But seriously - I think I'd be packing his stuff for him. This state of affairs could drag on (I mean him living in your home, going out as and when, while simultaneously making you feel like sh*t) He can't have it all his own way babes. And for what it's worth... I sincerely hope you have ceased doing ANYTHING for him. No washing or cooking.

When my OH and I were going through crapsville I stopped doing anything for him. I cooked/washed/cleaned for me and my girls, but he had sort himself out. That started when I was bring the washing in off the line. I suddenly thought... why the hell am I bringing his stuff in. Fluff that. So I left in all on the line for him to do. I only spoke to him with courtesy, and only about anything relevant - no conversation IYSWIM.

I know that it must be incredibly hard for you, and must hurt like hell, but the sooner he's gone, the sooner you can get on with having a calm and happy life.
    (((((hugs)))))

I was thinking about what everyone was talking about with regard to other people's troubles putting ours into perspective. I agree that sometimes you look around and think... blimey, I've got nothing to moan about..... BUT more than that, I agree with Lil_me It doesn't stop our stuff being unbearable at times.

When DD3 was born, and she was so bloomin poorly. In hosp having surgery at 2 days old and wired up with lines in all over her etc.... Our biggest reality check was seeing the really really poorly kids in the hosp, that left us counting our blessings and being relieved that she only had the problems she did. However, that didn't negate how bl**dy dreadful it was for us!!

So, I hope everyone's ok today. CS I hope you've found your ring.

I'm feeling almost human so may actually do some flying... maybe!

    Morning All

Just a quick post as I've got to disconnect my computer. The day of moving the LR around has arrived so all the modem wires and everything have got to be moved so I hope they're long enough.

First job is to empty all the cupboards - esp this computer one which is huge and full of files and all sorts!

    So hugs to all

Hopefully I'll be back on tonight

Hope Summermoon's move is going well. And hope your shifting of things around goes well too JulieJim

Guess what. It's wet and gray again today and the forecast for tomorrow is not much better. It's darker now than it was an hour ago! Don't know whether wash my bedding today or leave it until tomorrow. Decisions decisions!

    Morning lovelies!

I slept all night :T .. still got the sniffles and a sore/dry throat this morning but I can live with that.....still taking the AB's .....

My house is filthy....I mean really properly minging and I don't know if I've got the energy/urge to do it  I'm not motivated today that's for sure hmmmm maybe if I do a little list and see how I get on with that. Thinking of going to work today.....it's too much hassle to find phone numbers then phone etc etc to cancel it I'd be done and back quicker so we'll see, it's a very easy job 1 hr 15 mins max....

    list for today:-

    TD x 2
    unload DW
    reload DW
    S&S kitchen
    strip my bed
    tidy master bedroom
    hoover through

I'll see how I get on with that little lot.

    Morning SS
I know what you mean. Always say 'I'll never moan again' but of course you do.

I have been incredibly lucky (touch wood) no serious injury, illness, accidents, but that also means that when something does happen (like hurting my hand) it feels more of a problem than it should IYSWIM.
And the more I read about what some of you have to cope with and care for your families I really do know how lucky I am.

Wake-up lamp installed and working. Still need to sort out best time setting and think I might try the bird song and only put radio on after I am up.

Have decided to sort out the 'sitootery' at the bottom of the stairs. It seems to have collected a lot of bits and should be a lovely welcoming area.

    Morning everyone,

Just popping in to give you an update as to why I have been absent best part of last week and all this week, just gone. I am still a wee bit flueyfied, it doesn't want to go away and no amount of flu medicines are even having any impact on it. Plus I am coughing for England, and it's a chesty cough too. And no cough medicine has touched it, I have gone through two bottles of medicine now, I am now on my third bottle..lol Had to go to the nice Dr man to get some antibiotics, for my cough as that had turned into a chest infection..ugh. So hopefully that will also stop me from sweating too as I can't even do my hair now as it just sticks to my head after an hour..ugh!!

And then to top it all I fell down the stairs Tuesday and have twisted my ankle. I felt it go as I landed on it in a heap, amongst a spilt cat tray of used litter. :-( It's now a very puffy and pinkish looking foot..lol

Yep things have gone from bad to down right horrible. Thankfully Dave was off on Thursday , although being a man he seems to be incapable of thinking what needs doing and I am still doing things like cooking and stuff. I have literally left the housework/hoovering and washing as I really cannot face doing these without having to strip off to stay cool. I must be the only one that has no heating on, is wearing light clothing and has windows open to stay cool..lol.

Ooooh it will be good to not cough all the time and wee at the same time. I feel so unclean and am going through extra thick tena's at a rate of nobodys business. Maybe that is something I can also mention to the Dr the next time.

Am going to take myself off my bath with a cup of tea and try and make myself feel human :) We are supposed to be heading off to a Christmas Craft show tomorrow, somehow I think that will be a lot of sitting down and drinking cups of tea rather than walking around..lol.

*Hugs* for everyone that is doing so well, and *hugs* for those that are not well or need them.
