Gosh natty you sound like me, I've got the sweats too lol I haven't even bothered washing my hair this week cause there's no point it just clings to my head and goes crystal tipps-esque :D I'm such a minger. Hope the ankle heals quickly ouch.

Speaking of sweats I've got one on now cause I've just given my kitchen a thorough going over - including the floor which I scrubbed to within an inch of it's life on my hands & knees - it's sparkling and smells sweet - so does the bin cause that what horrendous so that's had a good wash too.

Once the floor dries I'll get the wet washing out of the washer that's been there for 3 days and bung it in the drier. I also need to locate the Birthday card I bought weeks ago and write that out & post it, it'll be late cause it's for tomorrow

:coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: brews all round..

    Morning all

I've only read the last page so hope everyones ok.

Hugs to Natty that ankle sounds painful .

Well we had the party:rolleyes: i felt bad for the kids missing out so did most of the cleaning myself then phoned OH and told him to come and help with the rest and let everyone know it was back on. He helped a bit. All the kids really enjoyed it and it was a great night.

The mess though this morning is shocking:eek:  . I'm going to get Ds1 to help me now;) .

HHC 10.15-10.45 i think is in order if anyone wants to join me?

  • Morning SS Wake-up lamp installed and working. Still need to sort out best time setting and think I might try the bird song and only put radio on after I am up.

    Morning Crafty

We just set it for when we want to get up, and let it do the rest! It was quite weird to begin with, I hadn't got to grips with the quiet start to the radio, so I thought it wasn't set right... so used to being jolted out of my sleep I guess.

It's funny how much you get used to it though. I read through the reviews of it yesterday, and realised I'd completely forgotten how foul it is to be ripped out of sleep by a blaring radio!

[/SIZE] Ooooh it will be good to not cough all the time and wee at the same time. I feel so unclean and am going through extra thick tena's at a rate of nobodys business. Maybe that is something I can also mention to the Dr the next time.

    What a week!!! ((((hugs))))

Seriously... you must go to the docs about your cough/wee thing. I put up with it for years, finally thought... enough! Pelvic floor excercises didn't cut it because I had a front and rear vaginal wall prolapse, entirely detached pelvic floor muscles and my urethra had prolapsed because it had no support from the vaginal wall. (bloomin childbirth) So... some significant reconstructive surgery later..... no wee issues at all! ( plus significant improvement for me and MrS in the bedroom ;) )It was completely worth it!!!!!!!! :T :T

For most problems though the solutions are quite straightforward. Pelvic floor excercise, maybe some physio, or even a small op; obviously depending on how severe the problem is. But !!!!!! sort it out, it's so horrible to live with, and you don't have to put up with it. Plus, think of the money you'd save on pads!!!!! :rotfl:

Piggers Maybe you could put it on the list... all those with a bladder issue to see the doc to get it sorted for 2009!! ;)

:( going to cry, father daughter speech gets me crying every time :o of course the 'all made in taiwan' makes me laugh too, fixing it the russian way!

The other one I can think of around then was Independance Day but that was aliens. I call them 'america saves the world' films

I might be thinking of that, or the Day After Tomorrow - yeah lil_me I batch them together like that, hence the confusion...
