    Evening

So what have I achieved today - well no flying thats for sure.
    Work 8-4
    Quick sleep
Refused to get tea for DS as I asked him what he wasnt going to
cook and when he said nothing I said no neither am I then (so he cook his own and I had a bowl of frosties!!)
Collected DD from friends house where she'd been to a sparkler party
Dropped OH's glasses off to him at work but of course he didnt want the ones he'd just been using but the other ones (what am I psychic)
Dropped another friend back at her house
Chatted to her mum who I hadnt met before
Came home and done naff all so catching up on here then update finances

lilme - thanks for the link
    nicki - well done
valli - love your single pleasuress
embb - hope you feeling a bit better now. My DS hasnt had a pennny of his EMA although we applied back in July
christmasshopper - I hope you find the ring, I wear my grannies all the time now so that I know where it is
    holly - oh dear
michelle - big hugs hunny, and just remember we've all shouted at the kids at some point, its what makes us human. and just because other peoples problems might make yours seem insignificant, theyre significant to you
vivw - I felt like that yesterday, I just couldnt wake up till about 11 (and had been at work 3 hours by then)
pigpen - hugs for you too, you've had a rough time and please do go to bed stupidly early as you were up stupidly late! and NO to the steelies in the park
pink fairy - hope you feel better soon
pigpen - should it not be signed off sick !!!!! and you blame your nails when you break them too
lilme - could it have been lollo rosso or something, have a look at the mixed bags of salad leaves in the supermarket
licklegibbon - hugs for your sis poor friend and you for dealing with the poor chap. OH is a paramedic in a rapid response car and often takes things in himself as there is no ambo to back him up they are sooo short staffed with record sickness levels that many shifts are left uncovered.
    Pink Fairy - love it
savingforarainy day - would love to know what GF goodies you cook (i'm supposed to be GF too)

Right going to forget updating the finances and go to bed and makes some lists

Catch up with you all at the weekend
    Kaz x
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Valli - good for you! But I'm like DustyKitten and Jjeff - one of the lucky ones, even though he never sees "mess" all I have to do is give him a list when he's at home and he works his way through.

Triker - that really brought a smile to my face. Thank you sooooooooooooo much!

Pigpen - thank you. Do I need to submit a copy of my sick notes. I'm on oral steroids as I'm asthmatic as well, and some nasty antibiotics which may give me a metallic taste in my mouth and may make me feel sick!_pale_

(and I get cross when people mix up formerly and formally too - when my Uncle died we phoned in his obituary and they described him as being 'formally of XXXXXX Road, Blackburn:rolleyes: ) I am sure he was quite casual, sometimes. Did you see today's Daily Mail (and poss other papers) about the unnecessary or incorrect use of words such as should of, could of instead of should have, could have or "at this moment in time" - what else is a moment???. It makes me angry!

    Lil_me - maybe Lollo Rosso?

Thank you to everyone for all the get well wishes and yes, I have been resting lots today, although I had two trips to the dentist for a check up, then the hygienist, picked DS and GF up, took them to Yoof Club, DH collected though!

Quote from Likklegibbon "And my sister's best work friend got home yesterday to find that her hubby had hung himself!

With all that is happening that's carp, its made me realise that I've got nothing to worry about at all" - I'm sitting counting my blessings. I may have said this before, but it bears repeating - My mother once said that if all the troubles in all the world were put in a pile and we were asked to choose, we would still choose our own!

Take care all. Hugs to anyone feeling unwell or just low. Thank God for each and every one of you, my Flying friends, and I hope you all sleep well. x

I am REALLY tired and miffed off now.. and hubby is coming in and going straight back out which means I get to feed everyone and put them to bed on my own.. I am very close to bawling my eyes out this afternoon.. think it is all down to just being tired SO tonight I am going to bed stupidly early..

Hugs Pigpen, you've had a bit of a time of it haven't you... I've been told off and sent to bed early too, I really think this weather/dark mornings and nights and all the extra work we're all doing is to blame, plus you've had extra stress put on you lately, no wonder you're tired.
Hope you managed to get to bed early and enjoyed your sleep - then wake up tomorrow with renewed energy and the mules a-flying and get everyone running around for you - you know you can!:D

Kaz, sounds like a busy day for you, hope you manage to get some relax time over the weekend

Over cooked my pasta a bit, because I was too busy sorting through boxes of stuff. Need to find that little list I did, ah here it is, see what I have done

    [strike]Clear OU books into boxes
Sort OU books, remove any duplicates[/strike]one box full done
Pack OU books to go in the loft (making sure packages not too heavy!)
    Sort through boxes of shoes
    [strike]Put books onto bookcase
Find somewhere for blank paper and empty files[/strike]
Put TV back onto cabinet no chance
    [strike]Videos into video cabinet[/strike]
[strike]Sort through box of, erm, well I don't know what is in that one[/strike] (contained books, video, DVDs, games, game instructions, 2 transformers, 3 lightbulbs, 6 pens, 1 pencil, 1 rule, 3 odd socks, pair of pj bottoms, several pegs, green tea sample, few more toys, 3 note books, few photos etc etc you get the idea)

Well not too bad, might do another little bit before bed, unfortunately my backs going crackers so DP will have to shift the tele and boxes (doing this to bring his things in so tough) I am really embarrassed now as Sonic must be smelly (due a clean out) because pigpen can smell him and inc his cage on the list.

Dinner was a bit of a suprise, defrosted and was meatballs in sauce (hm) anyway, nice, still not finished (useless at cooking for one so dogs will do well out of it) Going to eat a bit more then do another 20 minutes or so before I go to bed. Oh Armageddon is on, first movie DP and I went to see together at the cinema, I think I will forget the 20 mins and watch that in bed (always cry at the end :o ) I love the bit that's on now where they find them all, wish list and the night off too.
One day I might be more organised...........

But yknow when you know something but you feel soooo low that your mind plays games anyway :o:o:o:o

  • Hi all
Did a big post then lost it, so hope I remember everthing...
Michelle - hugs to you, glad you're feeling a bit better now, hope it keeps up for you.
Pink - Please take it easy, it's so easy for it to get worse and quick - listen to your doctor and go to bed!
Lil-me - I think it was you - is it lollo rosso? what about showing him pictures on the internet of various leaves (jut google some)
Johanne - Sounds like you're getting your head around stuff - good on you, you're better and tougher than that. Take care
LikkleGibbon - how awful for your friend and her friend - makes you think eh!
Soappie - Your story made me think too - it's amazing how your own mortality makes you look at things in a totally different light.

I hope that's everyone, hugs to those who need them and a big drink to those who want one! I'm off to bed with another cup of hot chocolate and I'm in Leicestershire tomorrow, so see you all tomorrow night...:D

Johanne, hun, hugs. Have you given him a date to be out by yet? If you haven't - you should! Even if he says he has nowhere else to go.

Hi all just in from Ikea where we finally managed to get the rest of our kitchen cupborads -sink side- and worktop.

Just lugged it all in so chaos reigns again.

My house is a pit, a mucky, messy pit so I'm going to tackle it tomorrow.

Going for a shower now to wash the week off me and then will rejoin you and catch up.

Just saw a post by Flower re my linky, I'll try to repost it for you see if that works, toodles for now.x

Men play with your minds - its what they do best and half the time they don't even know they're doing it!!! Like you say, he's probably talking about Sarah, so try not to stress yourself and hope you get a good nights sleep...

Also, you should give him a date like Soappie says... If you give him a date he can go to the council and tell them - they will give him temporary accommodation somewhere so at least he will have a place - they don't leave you homeless, they will put him in a hostel or something if he can't find a place of his own...

You need to start thinking of you and Sarah now - he's thinking of himself isn't he - start planning for your futures and set that date then you can get yourself back on track... good luck to you, I know it will be hard but you can do it and we will all be here for you if you need us!...

Right, I really am off to bed now - must be there before 12am...:o
