Well, that was a satisfactory result for half an hour or so, interrupted by going to pick up DS1 who has two lessons and lunch hour free. I'm just having a second strong coffee, as I cannot wake up when it's so gloomy outside!

Still a computer nerd so I don't know how to put a line through my list.:o
Hi Mrs Dawn... To put a line through, you have to go advanced with your posts - then highlight the sentence you want to put a line through and then click on the [strike]S[/strike] with the line through (should be last box on the right) and (strike) (/strike) will come up either side of what is struck out (it will have these [ ] brackets instead, but it wouldn't show if I put them on here)

Mrs Dawn,
when you post your reply, there is a row of icons above the message box. Highlight the bit of text you want to strike through by right clicking and moving the mouse (apologies if that is too basic!) and then click on the S with a line through it on the right!
Well done on Level Two!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

or you can type [ s ] at the beginning and then that again but with a / in front of the s at the end (but no spaces inbetween).
Ok how do I ask my husband for help with the housework without sounding like I'm nagging?Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Advice flower please! And anyone else with an opinion too of course!:D
I have finally got around to buying two cushions I really like for the living room, and now need to choose curtain material. The room is painted in Dulux Almond White, the carpet will be cream, and the sofas are Duck Egg blue. Coffee table, desk and bookshelves are light oak. Little bits of highlight colour planned in chocolate and fuchsia (ie. pink orchid on windowsill, chocolate throw for winter, pink for summer perhaps)
I'm dithering over the curtains - three options:
1. Cream with a shadow weave pattern (I have found this and the next one)
2. Duck Egg blue with a shadow weave pattern
3. Cream background with a not-too-heavy pattern in blue, chocolate and fuchsia pink. (which I haven't yet located - possible suitable one in John Lewis)
So, what should I go for??It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I think I'd go with number one...but only because it's probably easier to reuse if you decide to have another change!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

OK...
I've called the glass place, ordered the glass and arranged to collect it on Friday morning
I've called one tree surgeon, who will hopefully get back to me today so I can actually speak to them to arrange for them to come out and quote
I've arranged for one freecycler to come round tonight, and got the stuff for her out of the garage, and for two more to come round tomorrow evening.
What do you do about people who express and interest, you tell them they can have it and to arrange a collection time and then you don't hear from them again? How long do you have to wait before offering it to the next person on the list?
Must do some real work sometimeI'm dithering over the curtains - three options:
First one. You don't want a big block of solid colour against your pale walls, and the cream gives you the option to change walls/cushions/throws etc without having to spend on new curtains. Get them with thermal linings if at all possible. You can get some duck-egg blue tiebacks (there are usually nice ones in the Pier) to add colour.0
