Thanks both! I think I was sucked into buying boxes with lids for a while which are great, but several of them are just filled with stuff after a couple of stressful "lets just dump it all in there to get it out of the way for now and I'll sort it later" tidying sessions :rotfl: It's getting there very slowly, like you've mentioned serena our problem is not just too much stuff but the wrong sort of storage. I think once I get one room done it'll be a big boost! I've just printed off some lables for boys room, so he knows which drawers his clothes need to go into. Also I'm going to rescue a couple of the boxes with "stuff" in for his lego, k'nex etc so it's all together. I just feel like I'm going in circles! Get one bit sorted but then some DIY needs doing so everything gets moved and it all goes wrong! Although hopefully soon my fitted wardrobe I've designed will be made, it'll have room for all my bedding, all the clothes either hung up or on shelves as deep drawers are awful, space for shoes and even my washing basket. I think once I get my storage sorted everything should hopefully slot into place!
Doh think I've waffled a lot there :rotfl: Need to go and work out where to put stuff in the lounge nowFluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Hi everyone
I won't be flying this week, I'm at my parents til Friday and then to my boyfriends parents for the weekend. Don't think i'll get much of a chance to post either as my time is full of driving lessons and uni work.
Big hugs to everyone who needs them, hope you all have a wonderful sparkly week

Justamum hang in there, never easy coming off them
kassey looking forward to hearing what the meat is like, iirc they email with offers etc once registered
AnWsMum I think wonderweb stuff might be my lifesaver, Mam isn't due a visit
serena as my grandma used to say, you can't put something in it's place and your house will always be untidy if you don't have places for them. She had a 'homeless' box in the cupboard for when something was 'homeless' and she needed a home for it. Decide what needs to go in each room then what you want to store it in is what I am working on at the minute aswell.
embb no problem, I keep a bearded dragon myself, they are brilliant but the initial set up can be expensive. There are several reptile outlets I WON'T use again, inc one I reported to the RSPCA after being handed a half dead lizard (will PM details if you want them) there is supposed to be a good one in Team Valley but never used them myself, a nice guy also had one in South Hetton but I don't know if it's still there. Coast 2 Coast IMO is the best place to go.
juliejim Horrid Henry was something I was considering to try to persuade DS1 next, thanks for that
toots enjoy
rach I have downloaded open office, going to give it a whirl first
DP sorting his Ipod so I am subjected to him blasting music and bad singing, grrr. Made myself do DW and WM this morning before coming online. Waiting to hear if a SALT group is going to run (lack of interest - no suprise there) Did a Tesco order last night (what I needed this time was cheapest on there, bumped up the cost by stocking up on coffee to use voucher for £9 off.
Taking kids tonight to fireworks display, meeting up with DPs Dad and step Mam who apart from a pub lunch have never been 'out' with the boys, so that will be interesting. Sad really that they have never been anywhere with them, but DPs Dad retires next year and I think they might make more of an effort then as they both work FT at the minute. They were on about them going out to stay with them once they get their villa etc aswell, they have been looking for places with pools as the boys like swimming so much.
Need to go and scream at a garage today, DP got a call yesterday, his car went in to get the seats sorted as where seats moved the leather was coming off, to say 'we're just letting you know how much you will need to bring for your service we have done as your car is ready to be collected' he pointed out on the phone he had not asked for a service. Anyway when we got there he said 'well you will need the book to stamp it' the woman said 'oh we haven't serviced it so it still needs doing in May' well sorry I think somethings not quite right there, I want to know exactly what they have done to his car. I think they have serviced it and just want him to pay again to get it done because they knew they couldn't charge him yesterday. One day I might be more organised...........
