:rotfl: :rotfl: It's a sign of age Boddy - I know you're only young but it's creeping up on you...:rotfl: :rotfl: My nan used to say to us, "do you think your dad would like to get an 'hair pair' lady to help your mum?"... We never let her forget it and that was about 35 odd years ago, she died last year at 98 and we were still reminding her about it and other things and having a good ol' laugh with her - she was always mixing up her words, I think on purpose some times

My afternoon for helping in DS3 class today and then I have parents consultations for DS1 later this afternoon so not much chance of much more being done today.

Serena for what it's worth I love patterns on my curtains otherwise they look a bit like a load of fabric hanging there when closed IMHO

Vacuum/mop floors in these rooms
Polish taps and mirrors

Everything else will get transferred to Thursday - it is our Wedding Anniversary today and I have a luscious meal and romantic evening planned! No painting/DIY or anything else....just candles, soft music, etc etc

My 28 kg cross collie/labrador thinks he's a lap dog, and wants to cuddle up with me on my knee!! He's so funny, if he actually manages to get up, his paws have to go over each of my shoulders! He's huge (well, no rottie huge, but too big to be on my lap)

.........and if I do all of this I can go to a firework display

Am going to get ready and run my flung clothes to the charity shop before I change my mind , then lunch before I start on the ironing and sorting the laundry room

I have noticed that my DH only helps if there is an audience. The minute we have visitors he runs round being Mr. Helpfull. Drives me mad. I must eb able to use this somehow.

I have just over an hour to get some cleaning done before I collect the boys. I shall tootle off and have a look at the list and then see how much I can get done before 2.30.

Chunky - IR35 is scary I agree. I am quite lucky in that I work for a number of companies, and my regular work is direct employed. Business link do free workshops that may help on the financials?
