Still haven't achieved much today. I think I probably need to sleep for about a week (I'm tempted to have siesta, but think I probably wouldn't wake up until tomorrow!). I've moved half the contents of the freezer to the one in the garage, but I'm not entirely convinced it'll be OK, as it defrosted itself over the summer. On closer inspection, the top drawer doesn't quite close properly as the metal cover on the front of the top element is warped. Hopefully it will be OK for a couple of weeks! If it makes it through the weekend (I'm away) I can check it daily.

I'm getting very confused by freecycle. As with car boot sales, no one seems to want the stuff I would consider useful (plates, cutlery, dishes etc), but tealight holders and old candles... everyone's after them!

Chunky - thanks for that. I've been debating what to make for dinner, so lasagne it is!:D

Greenbee - I'm astounded at some of the things people ask for on Freecycle, talk about greedy. If no luck with there, I'm sure your local Charity shop would be delighted. Ours sells all sorts, including dishes, cutlery etc.

I think I may well make some calls, and drop everything that's left on Friday off at a charity shop. You're right. Everyone seems to want nice furniture, new appliances and electronics.

Right... I really must try to get moving...

Posting now because I've only just got the computer on and probably won't have time to read much.

Day 3 of bathroom refit and I've impressed myself with my bladder control! Should be the last day tomorrow but involves the electrician so I may not get the computer on at all. I did manage to do some dusting and vacuuming this afternoon but it will need a better clean than that on Friday! Everything is very dusty.

Hope everyone's OK, I'll try to catch up later.

Don't kill him... it's over too quickly and you'll only wish he was alive so you can tell him all the things you forgot before you killed him AND THEN DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!! I suggest you go for more of a long-term strategy.

AnW'sMum DS3 has the IQ chewables. Not all omega tablets are the same and like all things one component is much more expensive than the others; this is the one which is supposed to have the required affect. If you compare the pack of those with an own brand they are very different. They work for him. Boots always have them on 342. Visit their website and I'm sure you can get a freebie to try if not pm me (once my box has been emptied) and I'm happy to send you a few for him to try.

    Afternoon all,

Work for the week finished, TMA about 75% done so going to spend the nxt 24hrs flying....

I have had a very quick catch up here
pigpen - I have managed to get my DD a pink ds today from Game £114.99 for ds & 2 games (nintendogs & HSM3) its sold out online but apparently stores may still have some offered ends tomorrow night so you may have to be quick.

joanne - massive hugs as greenbee just said dont kill him yet make him suffer first.

Had other mentions / bits to say but as usual I have forgotten it all. Off now to put a list together and then will think about starting to get this place in order.
  • frazz - to defragment, go into your control panel - administrative tools - computer management - disk defragment. If you've never done it before can take ages but your computer will usually run the better for it

thank you!! defrag now complete....did take almost an hour and a half though!!!
