Someone at Cubs suggested I got DS to sew his own badges on - they had to sew on either a button or a badge for one of their badges recently. I told them it would be a waste of time because I would just have to remove it and sew it back on straight and with neat, even, invisible stitches (otherwise it would bug me constantly!)0 -
Caught up on the thread and promptly forgot what to say and to whom (yet again I hear you all cry!) Needless to say hugs all round.
Been busy out this morning, just had lunch while neighbours was on, am about to jump in the shower as it's school run in 20 mins, Miss A has a bell ringing lesson at 4pm, W has a swimming lesson at 5pm, I need to nip to Morrisons for a few bits before his lesson. My friend is coming at 6pm, we are nipping down to my sis's house for jacket tatties and sparklers as soon as friend arrives. When we get back here I am to receive instruction on book dispatch while best friend is on hols (just had to d/l word 2007 compatability pack for that!) and the nother friend and I will colapse in a heap and have a good old chinwag!!!!
Blimey I am knackered just thinking about it, better jump to it though.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Justamum...I was on those and they came in a capsule. What I did was take the capsule apart then seperate the little bits into half and half and take just half, then the next day I'd seperate that other half into half and take half of that etc etc etc until I got down to just one teeny tiny bit! They are hideous to come off though.
And noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Mr G is sanding the hallway which I know needs doing but I can just see the dust settling!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Very true Miss A has yet to do her sewing badge, and don't tell anyone else but I sew Miss A' badges on as I suspect she will need a new bigger fleece before he moves up to scouts so I will wundaweb them onto the new oneOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Has been suggested that I give omega3 to W to try and help boost his concentration levels. Does anyone know of a chewable/sweet type version I could get to try with him?Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0

AnW'sMum...I'm working on the fact that in 2 years boy will not grow much so I only have to buy him one beaver jumper
Now I have to get big girl some trousers and a jumper for cubs, she's been to about 4 or 5 evenings and loves it and I think it'll be better than sending her in her normal clothes.

In the last hour I have tidied the living room, the snug, the hall and made a start on DR and kitchen. I have also dusted and hoovered. I have cleaned the BR and the downstairs loo plus put on the WM, and the TD. I emptied all the bins, so I need to put DHs rigger boots on and jump in the big bin.
To do post school run - empty DW, WM and TD, hoover kitchen (horrible having carpet in kitchens, be glad when it is gone), sort and put away the clothes on the DR table, ditto with the pile of paperwork that has appeared since appeared Monday, tidy the fridge, and empty the litter tray (triker I loved the cake). Must scoot round the garden ad see if I can find some eggs for tea as they are hiding them again.
menolly, sounds wonderful to me, I hope you have a lovely evening.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

I got Miss A's fleece from Sainsbugs (as suggested by Aklea) only cost £2 or £3 from memory and was just about the same shade greenHTH
W will start beavers in Jan, will just buy him one HUGE fleece as they are not a 'normal' colour so to speakOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
