It's like monopoly in our house, just picked the 'bank error in your favour' card.
Don't know how much for exactly but just getting it sorted now so a tidy wee sum due back :). It'll be going straight off the mortgage but won't count until June.

May's OPs going nicely, still a few more I'll squeeze out of somewhere before reporting in with end of month figures.

Keep up the good work everyone.

    Evening all.

No. 214 reporting - later than usual!

Overpaid this month by £30, taking total to £150. :)

Really need to get better at this - and really need to pay in the Mortgage Moo money that is still sitting on my coffee table after having counted it all up a month ago.

Well done everyone else - you really inspire me when I read this thread. Clearly, I should read it more often! :)

    #192 reporting in....

£500 OP for May now cleared and with the offset savings taken into account then capital owed has been reduced by £2677 since January. Running about £200 ahead of target so very pleased.
Keep going everyone, this thread is great as it makes me realise there are loads of people as insane as me!

I think i have squeezed out everything i can for MAy. I'm really quite pleased as i have managed to put £675 into my savings account (really low after my 2 lots of maternity pay), and also pay off £497.32 on the mortgage, which takes me to £54k for the month end. That's reduced it by about £1800 since the start of the year, or £1200 since the start of April.

Just goes to show what you can achieve when you set your mind to it. I would like to think i could also have been a bit better, but thought it important to enjoy DS2's 1st birthday by having a party, and also we have eaten out a couple of times this month and had a couple of takeaways with being shattered from being back at work,

Hopefully i can now get into a better routine and keep trickling it into the mortgage.

    No. 220 reporting for duty!

i've been rubbish for two months.... due to an unexpected/unplanned trip to thailand! Great time had though ;)

But i've used my two 'holiday' months (scuse the pun!) that i scheduled for the year so im going to have to double up soon, to get my month off cushion back!

If only i had a smaller mortgage! Anyone fancy swapping?! one careful lady owner..

Hello All, feeling very happy today, paid another £1241 off mortgage today which takes our total for 2009 past our target of £6000 already. I can't believe it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Thanks everyone for the inspiration- there are worse addictions than this!:rotfl::rotfl:.
    Target £6000 /2009 £6242.75/ May £2065.50
Anyway- it doesn't end here, I'm not changing my target officially, but I am dreaming of hitting 10 thousand. (8000 probably more realistic but who knows....)
