Hello All, feeling very happy today, paid another £1241 off mortgage today which takes our total for 2009 past our target of £6000 already. I can't believe it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Thanks everyone for the inspiration- there are worse addictions than this!:rotfl::rotfl:.
    Target £6000 /2009 £6242.75/ May £2065.50
Anyway- it doesn't end here, I'm not changing my target officially, but I am dreaming of hitting 10 thousand. (8000 probably more realistic but who knows....)

Kind of forgot add my progress.

so far YTD have overpaid £4500, so mortgage balance now at £152,500.

April is a tight month for me financially, as i seem to have all my bills arrive at the same time, plus 2 birthdays, and also putting money into ISA's.

Now thats over with, i can concentrate more on reducing that mortgage. Getting to £142k will be a challenge....but it can be done !:j

233 here. I'm still only paying £200 a month extra (£1,000 total so far this year), but my credit card debt is rapidly diminishing and should be gone by August, so I may be able to up the overpayments to about £400 from then.
