Have overpaid by £150 so far this month but hope to make it a little more before the end of May. Hoping to get to my £1200 target for the year this month.

STILL haven't OP'd due to wanting to pay off credit card first. Doesn't help that OH keeps adding to it. Lets just say I'm not best pleased. Me being good isn't really helping when he isn't. Grrrr.
Plus the move has fallen through and we have been stung with £135 which went onto the credit card in fines. BOO.

My May overpayment has left my account, another £250!

    Numbers are:

    Target £3000
    April overpayment £250
    Overpayment to date £1250

This means an predicted interest saving of £283.14 since Jan 2009 until my MF date of September 2014, and now my £250 pm overpayment is more than covering the mortgage interest, which means the overpayment is just starting to reduce the capital too!

It's been tough to find the extra money this month (Car servicing, football season ticket all due in May, but I managed to save some money ahead). The credit card might be required for a couple of months, but everything should be OK by August.

Well done to everybody else! I've sped through the thread and it's amazing how resourceful you can be. If you haven't managed to make it this month, keep the faith and even if it's only a small amount, do it anyway. Let's make it £500,000 by the end of June.

Thanks to Zav, hope the house move is going well

Well done RosieTiger (Chief Cheerleader) and jackiegibbo (our regular reminder that small and often is just as effective).

Zaronry - No 215 reporting in. can I please amend my original overpayment target down to £3400 as it is not achieveble now due to having to buy a new car (my previous car has just been written off) so need to bulk up the savings again. Hope this is ok. I will be able to continue with some overpayments during the year due to going onto the varible rate for a few months at least (time will tell when we jump onto a fixed rate).

    Hope everyone is doing ok.
No 120 reporting in £500 overpayment for me this month. I think the next few months are going to be a struggle so may have to reduce my amount but it all counts doesn't it.
Zavarony I've pm'd you - thank you for updating us all.
