    well done Jackie

And here was me excited as the window cleaner didn't show up this week so i could move the weekly rate of £1.25 over :rotfl:

DH just walked in and gave me £80 for going and doing a call out at work. some of that will head that way too me-thinks. I love the way he hands it over without a thought and trusts me to spend it wisely. :D

Oops. Took my finger off the pulse. From April until December 2009, I’ve set up an automated mortgage overpayment set to fire on the first of the month to pay £101.97 – topping my “normal” monthly payment of £898.03 up to £1,000.

Forgot to drop in here to report it…

So, figures for me, ie #169 are now as follows:

Target / May total / Year to date.

    £3,800 / £101.97 / £1,134.85

This gives a percentage of 29.86% of my target – slightly behind the planned totals.

Zavarony - I'll also PM you.

    Hi everyone,

Congrats to Jackie- mortgage free is stress free x Well done on your hard work- we all know its not really luck that allows us to be MF.

Nice OP today week x 3 out of 4 ISAs (from stoozing) cashed in- one letter was lost in the post so had to order a new passbook for that account- now received so will be requesting that account closed this week. Overpayment today of £664. Plus OP by direct debit of £160 takes us to 2009 OP total of 5001.35

So far only been able to include the interest earned in this OP (and rent from my lodger) as we've had to use the money we built up by making payments to pay off one of the credit cards. When we finally cash in the last ISA though there will be at least another thousand going across to the mortgage. Which means we should reach our 2009 target of £6000 this month :T
I'm totally addicted to MFW- I just think it gives us so many more options- even if we don't pay it off due to changing circumstances- we'll have much less financial worry.
    Good Luck everyone!!!!
2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.
    MFW OPd 2014 £2000 2013 £9700 2012 £2848.39 2011 £2509.58 2010 £11000 2009 £112002008 £4939 :D

Have just paid £1100 op on my mortgage. Can only pay £1500 off this year (5%). Did look at paying the penalty and moving elsewhere but would need to find a mortgage below 2% for it to be of any benefit, so not sure if it is doable?

Will pm you Zav - number 110 reporting in, sir!

    Hi

My first op:j. Luckily my mortgage is one where I can overpay anything anytime. Even more luckily I found out last month that my pay had not been right for the last 6 months but it is now:p, so op of £391 has gone in today:D. Hoping to find a bit more by the end of the month so will send Zav a pm then.

Good luck everyone and thanks for the motivation:T
