So sorry to be late reporting the July overpayment of £500 -on target for the year and have updated balance in signature, which should be less after tomorrow when the regular payment goes out. Will be sub£25k by September - very exciting! Well done everyone and keep up the good work.

    Hi all,

Well Ive been so busy since moving house, I cant believe another month has gone!!

I have OP'd a very tiny £30 this month, but it was the first with the new mortgage so the amounts have been higher than they will be in the future.

I hope this isn't 'cheating' but Ive decided that as of August I am starting again!!

My target for the remainder of the year is £1000 - thats £200 per month until December as my OP's before moving no longer feel like OP's - hope thats making some sense!!!

Anyhoo - theres been some fantastic OP's since the beginning of the year, several people aolready reaching and resettng their targets but the biggest

WELL DONE must go to A-MS for clearing the mortgage once and for all :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

the rest of us will get there in the end, and we should be patting ourselves on the backs for starting to make a difference

Keep up the good work all
    Zav :D

  • Hi All,

I have not posted for a while, but here is an update following my August payment.

August OP £2,121. Total OP YTD £11,747 (73% of target). Mortgage balance now below £40k for the first time. Quite excited about that!

Well done everyone on your progress so far.
  • Hello all, #199 reporting in for July, a bit late as usual.

Still no sign of a job for MrsBlackCat, but still managed to overpay £200 at the end of July. Hope she gets something sorted soon though as her payoff won't last forever...

    August overpayment £200. Year-to-date £1850. Target still £3000.
Next month my newfound lack of credit card debt should mean I can throw more in.
