EON Energy Saver 8 - my prices have gone up

            I have written to EON and rung them advising of a change on electricity! BG is going to take a while to get everything set up though. What do I have to do extra to ensure old rates with EON? (Just in case BG don't contact them in 14 days)0

            I got a phone call last week from BG and they insisted that they are the cheapest supplier at the moment and that they were likely to decrease in Jan based on the recent lowering of prices in world energy markets.
I then wrote to Eon and said that I didn't agree with their price rises and that I was switching and this is the reply
I am very sorry to hear you will be switching supplier after our recent price increase.
As soon as you contact your preferred supplier we will issue you with your final bill. We will also work out the difference from your old prices and apply this to your account at this time.
